Katmandu Rajan Thapa À l'approche de Haritalika Teej, la grande fête des femmes népalaises, les chants et musiques de Teej enflamment les marchés. Dans ce contexte, une nouvelle chanson de Teej, « Salakkai », interprétée par Bhavana et Badi, a été dévoilée.

Cette chanson s'attache à présenter Teej non seulement comme une fête de danse, de chant et de divertissement, mais aussi comme une fête liée aux sentiments, aux peines, aux relations et à la vie sociale des femmes népalaises. « Salakkai », qui allie la douceur de la Teej traditionnelle à une musique et une présentation modernes, tente de réunir les souvenirs des générations précédentes et les aspirations des générations futures.

La chanson évoque la tradition des femmes népalaises qui se souviennent de la cour de leur mère à l'approche de Teej, celle des femmes qui expriment leurs joies et leurs peines en chantant, et les sentiments liés à l'évolution de notre époque. Une tentative a été faite pour faire revivre la culture de Teej, avec sa douleur parfois dissimulée derrière les rires, et la joie de se retrouver et de partager des moments conviviaux en musique.

Récemment, on s'inquiète de la perte de la culture originelle face à la modernité croissante des chants de Teej. Dans ce contexte, « Salakkai » semble vouloir préserver l'essence même de Teej et proposer une performance accessible à la génération actuelle.

Le clip met en avant l'ambiance culturelle, les danses et les festivités de Teej. Il présente la chanson au public à travers des images de retrouvailles entre jeunes filles, de joie et de bonne humeur.

Depuis des années, Teej est aussi pour les femmes népalaises l'occasion d'exprimer leurs sentiments en chansons. Ainsi, les chants de Teej ne sont pas seulement un divertissement, mais aussi un témoignage culturel précieux qui raconte l'histoire de la société et de son époque. « Salakkai » a cherché à allier cet esprit culturel au style musical de la nouvelle génération.

Sortie au moment où l'enthousiasme pour Teej grandit, cette chanson devrait conquérir le cœur des auditeurs et spectateurs népalais. On pense que cette chanson contribuera à renforcer l'art original népalais, la culture et l'esprit de Teej, tout en offrant un divertissement.

La Fondation du Cœur organise un centre de soins dentaires à Barpak-Sulikot en partenariat avec Om Samaj Dental ; une campagne de deux jours a été menée à bien malgré des conditions difficiles.

Un centre de soins dentaires a été créé et mis en service à l’hôpital de base Shaheed Prem Dhakal Memorial, à Hudiphant, situé dans la municipalité rurale de Gorkha Rajan Thapa Barpak-Sulikot. Ce centre, créé grâce au soutien financier de la Fondation du Cœur du Népal, de l’Association Manoj France et du Projet SURYA Paris, en collaboration avec la municipalité rurale de Barpak-Sulikot, a été inauguré par le président de la municipalité, Bishnu Bhatta.

Le centre a pour objectif de fournir des services de santé dentaire accessibles, réguliers et de qualité aux habitants des zones rurales du village. Une campagne de soins dentaires gratuits de deux jours a également été organisée à l’occasion de l’inauguration du centre. Au total, 392 personnes ont bénéficié de consultations et de soins dentaires lors de cette campagne.

Les services proposés comprenaient le détartrage, l’extraction, l’obturation, les radiographies et les traitements de canal. Selon l'organisateur, sur les deux jours, 138 personnes ont bénéficié d'un détartrage, 81 d'une extraction, 210 d'un plombage, 51 d'une radiographie et une d'un traitement de canal. L'organisateur précise que le nombre de prestations diffère du nombre total de bénéficiaires, car une même personne peut avoir reçu plusieurs soins.

La cérémonie d'inauguration s'est déroulée en présence de Sanmaya Gurung, vice-présidente de la municipalité rurale, Subash Ale, responsable administratif, Krishna Bhatta, directeur de la santé, Bhimsen Dhital, assistant hospitalier, Dhan Bahadur Gurung, président de la Fondation Mutu Népal, Rajan Thapa, membre du conseil d'administration de l'hôpital dentaire Om Samaj et journaliste engagé, Shantideep Regmi, journaliste, ainsi que de médecins, d'agents de santé, d'élus, de bénévoles et d'habitants. Albane, Apolline, Younes, Amandine, Daniel et Alma, représentants du projet SURYA Paris (France), étaient également présents. Les dentistes de l'hôpital dentaire Om Samaj, les docteurs Mamta Bhujel, Diksha Chaudhary et Sabina Duwadi, ont participé à la campagne de soins.

Une équipe comprenant l'hygiéniste dentaire Ayusha Manandhar et l'assistant dentaire Junu Pandit a assuré les soins. De même, l'hygiéniste dentaire Shivlal Athaka, la technicienne de laboratoire Sushmita Thapa Magar, l'assistante de santé Sikha Ale Magar, l'infirmière auxiliaire Nirmala Chaudhary et d'autres professionnels de santé ont été mobilisés pour les traitements et la prise en charge.

Durant la campagne, des coupures de courant répétées ont perturbé le fonctionnement des équipements et des services. Cependant, les professionnels de santé, les bénévoles et l'équipe organisatrice ont optimisé l'utilisation des ressources disponibles et ont maintenu le service. Malgré ces difficultés, l'équipe a travaillé sans relâche pour soigner la population locale, selon les organisateurs.

Sanmaya Gurung, vice-présidente de la municipalité rurale, a déclaré avoir été très impressionnée par la qualité des soins prodigués par les professionnels de santé. Il a déclaré : « Vous voir arriver dans un endroit aussi reculé et servir sans relâche les habitants de notre municipalité rurale de 8 h à 21 h était véritablement émouvant et inspirant. Même face aux problèmes tels que les coupures de courant, vous n'avez jamais relâché vos efforts. Nous sommes profondément reconnaissants de ce dévouement et de ce service dont ont fait preuve les agents de santé. Vous n'êtes pas seulement venus prodiguer des soins, mais vous avez aussi servi les villageois comme s'il s'agissait de votre propre famille. Une telle coopération nous encourage à œuvrer encore plus efficacement dans le secteur de la santé dans les prochains jours. »

Dhan Bahadur Gurung, président de la Fondation Mutu Népal, a déclaré que le camp avait été mené à bien malgré divers obstacles, notamment les coupures de courant. Il a exprimé son engagement à poursuivre ce type de programmes axés sur le service public dans les prochains jours, en donnant la priorité aux besoins de santé de la population locale.

Grâce à la création du centre de soins dentaires, les habitants de Barpak-Sulikot devraient être moins contraints de se rendre au chef-lieu du district ou ailleurs pour des soins dentaires généraux. On estime que la mise en place de services de soins dentaires réguliers au sein du village permettra même aux habitants les plus éloignés financièrement et géographiquement d'accéder aux traitements d'en bénéficier.

नाग पञ्चमी : आस्था, परम्परा र प्रकृति संरक्षणको पर्व
काठमाडौं । हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बीहरूको महत्वपूर्ण पर्व नाग पञ्चमी प्रत्येक वर्ष श्रावण शुक्ल पञ्चमीका दिन श्रद्धा र भक्तिपूर्वक मनाइन्छ। नागदेवताको पूजा गरी परिवारको सुख, शान्ति, स्वास्थ्य, समृद्धि तथा सर्पजन्य भयबाट रक्षा होस् भन्ने कामना गर्ने धार्मिक परम्परा रहिआएको छ।
नाग पञ्चमीको परम्परा कहिलेदेखि सुरु भयो भन्ने ठ्याक्कै ऐतिहासिक मिति भेटिँदैन। यद्यपि नाग तथा सर्पको पूजा गर्ने परम्परा अत्यन्त प्राचीन रहेको धार्मिक ग्रन्थहरूमा उल्लेख पाइन्छ। वैदिक परम्परादेखि नै नागलाई जल, वर्षा, उर्वरता र प्रकृतिसँग जोडेर सम्मान गर्ने गरिएको मानिन्छ।
धार्मिक कथनअनुसार नाग पञ्चमीको सम्बन्ध महाभारतकालीन राजा जनमेजयको सर्पयज्ञ र आस्तिक ऋषिले नागहरूको रक्षा गरेको प्रसङ्गसँग समेत जोडिन्छ। भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण र कालिय नागसँग सम्बन्धित धार्मिक कथालाई पनि नागपूजाको परम्परासँग जोडेर हेर्ने गरिन्छ।
नेपालका विभिन्न स्थानमा विशेष पूजा
नेपालका विभिन्न भू–भागमा नाग पञ्चमी आफ्नै स्थानीय परम्परा र संस्कृतिअनुसार मनाइन्छ। काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा नागपोखरी, टौदह, पशुपति क्षेत्र तथा विभिन्न नागदेवताका मन्दिर र पोखरीमा विशेष पूजाआजा हुने गर्दछ।
काठमाडौंको नागपोखरीमा हुने विशेष पूजा तथा धार्मिक गतिविधि नाग पञ्चमीको प्रमुख आकर्षणमध्ये एक मानिन्छ। त्यस्तै ललितपुर, भक्तपुर तथा देशका पहाडी, हिमाली र तराई–मधेसका विभिन्न जिल्लामा पनि घरघरमा नागदेवताको पूजा गर्ने चलन छ।
नेपालबाहेक भारतका उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखण्ड, पश्चिम बंगाल, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, आन्ध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना, तमिलनाडु, केरल र ओडिशालगायतका विभिन्न राज्यमा पनि नाग पञ्चमी धार्मिक श्रद्धाका साथ मनाइन्छ। बंगलादेशलगायतका स्थानमा रहेका हिन्दू समुदायमा समेत नागपूजाको परम्परा पाइन्छ।
घरघरमा नागको पूजा
नाग पञ्चमीका दिन बिहान स्नान गरी सफा कपडा लगाउने र घर तथा पूजा गर्ने स्थान सफा गर्ने चलन छ। त्यसपछि नागदेवताको चित्र वा प्रतिमा स्थापना गरी दीप तथा धूप बालिन्छ। कतिपय समुदायमा घरको मूलढोकामा नागको चित्र टाँस्ने वा चित्र बनाएर पूजा गर्ने परम्परा पनि छ।
पूजामा जल, दूध, फूल, अक्षता, चन्दन, दूबो, दही तथा विभिन्न नैवेद्य अर्पण गर्ने चलन छ। परम्पराअनुसार अनन्त, वासुकी, पद्म, महापद्म, तक्षक, कुलीर, कर्कट र शङ्ख गरी अष्टनागको स्मरण तथा पूजा गर्ने गरिन्छ।
पूजाका क्रममा “ॐ नागदेवताभ्यो नमः” लगायतका मन्त्र जप गर्दै परिवारको सुख, शान्ति, स्वास्थ्य र सुरक्षाको कामना गरिन्छ। अन्त्यमा आरती गरी प्रसाद वितरण गर्ने परम्परा छ।
धार्मिक आस्थासँगै संरक्षणको सन्देश
नाग पञ्चमी केवल नागदेवताको पूजा गर्ने पर्व मात्र नभई मानव र प्रकृतिबीचको सम्बन्धलाई सम्मान गर्ने सांस्कृतिक पर्वका रूपमा पनि लिन सकिन्छ। सर्पहरू वातावरणीय तथा पारिस्थितिक सन्तुलन कायम राख्न महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्ने जीव हुन्।
त्यसैले आधुनिक समयमा नाग पञ्चमी मनाउँदा धार्मिक आस्थासँगै सर्प तथा अन्य जीवजन्तुको संरक्षणको सन्देशलाई समेत आत्मसात् गर्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता रहेको संरक्षणकर्मीहरू बताउँछन्। जीवित सर्पलाई समातेर वा दुःख दिएर पूजा गर्नुको सट्टा नागको चित्र वा प्रतिमामा प्रतीकात्मक पूजा गर्नु सुरक्षित र संरक्षणमैत्री अभ्यास मानिन्छ।
नाग पञ्चमीले सदियौँदेखि चलिआएको धार्मिक विश्वास, सांस्कृतिक परम्परा र प्रकृतिप्रतिको सम्मानलाई एकै ठाउँमा जोडेको छ। त्यसैले यो पर्व धार्मिक आस्था, सांस्कृतिक पहिचान, पारिवारिक सुख–शान्तिको कामना र प्रकृति संरक्षणको साझा सन्देश बोकेको पर्वका रूपमा मनाइँदै आएको छ।

ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पताल र ईसान महिला तथा बाल अस्पतालद्वारा बनस्थलीमा बृहत् स्वास्थ्य शिविर सम्पन्न
काठमाडौं, राजन थापा । सर्वसाधारणलाई सहज र गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा घरदैलोमै पुर्‍याउने उद्देश्यले काठमाडौंको बनस्थलीमा ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पताल र ईसान महिला तथा बाल अस्पतालको प्राविधिक सहकार्य तथा लायन्स क्लब अफ बालकुमारी साङ्ला, काठमाडौंको सहकार्यमा बृहत् स्वास्थ्य शिविर सम्पन्न भएको छ।
लायन्स क्लब इन्टरनेशनल ३२५ आई अन्तर्गत आयोजित शिविरमा सर्वसाधारणको स्वास्थ्य तथा दन्त परीक्षण, आवश्यक परामर्श, उपचार तथा औषधि वितरण गरिएको थियो। शिविरमा ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पताल, ईसान महिला तथा बाल अस्पताल, पूर्णदृष्टि तथा आँखा उपचार केन्द्र र ग्रान्डी अस्पतालका चिकित्सक तथा स्वास्थ्यकर्मीहरूले विभिन्न विशेषज्ञ सेवा प्रदान गरेका थिए।
शिविरमा लायन्स क्लब अफ बालकुमारी साङ्लाका अध्यक्ष लायन दीपकुमार बुढाथोकीसहित क्लबका पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्यहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता रहेको थियो। कार्यक्रममा लायन्स क्लब ३२५ आई वर्ष २०२५/२६ का गभर्नर लायन सूर्यकुमार केसीलगायत विभिन्न क्षेत्रका व्यक्तित्वहरूको समेत उपस्थिति थियो।
आफ्नै हातले नागरिकको दाँत जाँच्दा डा. घिमिरे भावुक
शिविरमा ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पतालका अध्यक्ष तथा वरिष्ठ ओरल एण्ड म्याक्सिलोफेसियल सर्जन डा. सुवास घिमिरे स्वयं उपस्थित भई सर्वसाधारणको दन्त परीक्षण तथा स्वास्थ्यसम्बन्धी परामर्श दिएका थिए।
अस्पतालको नियमित सेवाभन्दा बाहिर निस्किएर नागरिकसँग प्रत्यक्ष भेट्दै उनीहरूको स्वास्थ्य अवस्था बुझ्ने क्रममा डा. घिमिरे भावुक बने।
उनले भने, “अस्पतालमा बसेर सेवा गर्नु हाम्रो कर्तव्य हो। तर आफ्नै अगाडि नागरिकको पीडा सुन्नु, स्वास्थ्य समस्या बुझ्नु र आफ्नै हातले जाँच गरेर राहत दिन सक्नुको अनुभूति निकै फरक हुन्छ। हामीले अध्ययन र अनुभवबाट प्राप्त गरेको ज्ञान कसैको पीडा कम गर्न प्रयोग गर्न सक्यौं भने त्योभन्दा ठूलो सन्तुष्टि अरू केही हुँदैन।”
आर्थिक अवस्थाका कारण कुनै पनि नागरिक स्वास्थ्य उपचारबाट वञ्चित हुन नहुनेमा जोड दिँदै उनले ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पतालले ‘सडकदेखि घरसम्म’ भन्ने मूल नाराका साथ नागरिकको घरदैलोमै पुगेर स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान गर्ने अभियानलाई निरन्तरता दिएको बताए।
‘समाजसेवा प्रचारका लागि होइन, नागरिकको आवश्यकताका लागि’
लायन्स क्लब अफ बालकुमारी साङ्लाका पूर्व अध्यक्षहरू सचितराज कुँवर, रञ्जित कुँवर, विकासराज कुँवर, राजु केसी, रञ्जन कुँवर र शैलेन्द्र विक्रम कुँवरले सामाजिक सेवा प्रचार र देखावटीका लागि नभई नागरिकको वास्तविक आवश्यकतामा केन्द्रित हुनुपर्ने धारणा राखे।
उनीहरूले भने, “समाजसेवा भाषण र प्रचारमा होइन, आवश्यक परेको ठाउँमा पुगेर नागरिकको पीडा कम गर्न सक्ने काममा देखिनुपर्छ। ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पतालले अघि सारेको ‘सडकदेखि घरसम्म’को अभियानसँग सहकार्य गर्दै प्रत्यक्ष नागरिकको सेवामा जोडिन पाउनु हाम्रो लागि खुसीको विषय हो।”
क्लबका अध्यक्ष लायन दीपकुमार बुढाथोकीले समुदायका नागरिकको पीडा कम गर्न स्वास्थ्य सेवामार्फत योगदान गर्न सक्नु नै संस्थाको वास्तविक सफलता भएको बताए। उनले आगामी दिनमा पनि यस्ता सेवामुखी कार्यक्रमलाई निरन्तरता दिने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरे।
लायन्स क्लब ३२५ आईका गभर्नर लायन सूर्यकुमार केसीले सामाजिक संस्था, स्वास्थ्य संस्था र समुदायबीचको सहकार्यले स्वास्थ्य सेवाको पहुँच अझ विस्तार गर्न सकिने बताए।
‘नागरिकको मुस्कान नै हाम्रो सबैभन्दा ठूलो पुरस्कार’
ॐ समाज डेन्टल अस्पताल बनस्थली शाखाकी प्रमुख सबिना पपन गुरुङले स्वास्थ्य शिविरलाई केवल परीक्षण र उपचारको कार्यक्रमका रूपमा नभई नागरिकको वास्तविक अवस्था र आवश्यकतालाई नजिकबाट बुझ्ने अवसरका रूपमा लिएको बताइन्।
उनले भावुक हुँदै भनिन्, “अस्पतालमा बसेर उपचार गरिरहँदा बिरामीको समस्या एउटा फाइल र रिपोर्टका रूपमा देखिन सक्छ। तर नागरिकको घरदैलोमा पुग्दा उहाँहरूको वास्तविक अवस्था, आर्थिक समस्या र उपचारको आवश्यकता आफ्नै आँखाले देख्न पाइन्छ। त्यही क्षणले स्वास्थ्यकर्मीलाई अझ जिम्मेवार बनाउँछ।”
गुरुङले थपिन्, “शिविरमा आएका नागरिकको अनुहारमा देखिएको आशा र उपचारपछि आएको मुस्कान नै हाम्रो सबैभन्दा ठूलो पुरस्कार हो। सामान्य दन्त उपचारबाट कसैलाई राहत मिल्नु, आँखाको समस्या समयमै पहिचान हुनु वा स्वास्थ्य समस्याबारे सही परामर्श पाउनु पनि नागरिकका लागि ठूलो उपलब्धि हो।”
उनले आर्थिक अभावका कारण कुनै पनि नागरिक उपचारबाट वञ्चित हुन नहुने बताउँदै **‘सडकदेखि घरसम्म’**को अभियानलाई व्यवहारमै उतार्दै आगामी दिनमा पनि समुदायमा पुगेर सेवा गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरिन्।
राजन थापा : ‘समाजसेवा फोटोका लागि होइन, आँसु पुछ्नका लागि’
सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता तथा पत्रकार राजन थापाले सामाजिक सेवा केवल फोटो खिच्ने र प्रचार गर्ने माध्यम बन्न नहुने बताए।
उनले भने, “समाजसेवा देखाउनका लागि होइन, पीडित नागरिकको आँसु पुछ्नका लागि हुनुपर्छ। मञ्चमा भाषण गरेर र सामाजिक सञ्जालमा फोटो पोस्ट गरेर मात्र समाजसेवा हुँदैन। सेवा गर्न चाहने हो भने नागरिकको घरदैलो र वास्तविक आवश्यकतासम्म पुग्नुपर्छ।”
‘सडकदेखि घरसम्म’ अभियानले स्वास्थ्य सेवाबाट टाढा रहेका नागरिकलाई घरदैलोमै सेवा पुर्‍याउने उद्देश्य बोकेको बताउँदै थापाले देखावटीभन्दा परिणाममुखी र मानवीय सामाजिक सेवाको आवश्यकता रहेको धारणा राखे।
बनस्थलीमा सम्पन्न स्वास्थ्य शिविरले स्वास्थ्य संस्था, लायन्स क्लब, चिकित्सक, स्वास्थ्यकर्मी तथा सामाजिक क्षेत्रका व्यक्तिहरूबीचको सहकार्यबाट समुदायमा प्रभावकारी स्वास्थ्य सेवा पुर्‍याउन सकिने स्पष्ट सन्देश दिएको छ।
नागरिकको पीडाप्रति चिकित्सकको संवेदना, स्वास्थ्य संस्थाको सेवाभाव, सामाजिक संस्थाको सहकार्य र सेवाप्रतिको प्रतिबद्धता—बनस्थली स्वास्थ्य शिविरले दिएको यही मानवीय सन्देश हो।

अरूको दुःखमा दौडिने राजन थापा आफ्नै घरको पहिरोमा संकटमा

सधैं अरूको पीडा र समस्यामा साथ दिँदै आएका सामाजिक अभियन्ता तथा पत्रकार राजन थापा आफैं प्राकृतिक विपत्तिको चपेटामा परेका छन्।
तारकेश्वर नगरपालिका–१, साँगलास्थित थापाको साढे दुईतले पक्की घरको पर्खाल लगातारको वर्षापछि भत्किँदा घर पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा परेको हो। जोखिम बढेपछि थापा परिवारसहित त्रासपूर्ण अवस्थामा बस्न बाध्य भएका थिए।
घटनाको जानकारी पाएलगत्तै नगर प्रमुख, नगर उपप्रमुख, वडा नं. १ का कार्यवाहक वडा अध्यक्ष, नगर प्रहरी तथा प्राविधिक टोली घटनास्थल पुगेर जोखिम मूल्याङ्कन र आवश्यक समन्वय गरेपछि सम्भावित ठूलो मानवीय क्षति टरेको छ।
भावुक हुँदै थापाले भने, “समयमै उहाँहरू नआइपुगेको भए आज हामी ठूलो दुर्घटनामा पर्न सक्थ्यौं। उहाँहरूको सहयोगले हामीलाई नयाँ जीवन दिएको छ।”
वर्षौंदेखि सामाजिक सेवा, राहत, स्वास्थ्य शिविर र पत्रकारितामार्फत जनताको दुःखमा साथ दिँदै आएका थापा आफ्नै संकटमा पर्दा स्थानीय सरकार र समुदायले देखाएको साथप्रति कृतज्ञ छन्।
उनले विपद्को समयमा फोन, सामाजिक सञ्जाल तथा प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा साथ, हौसला र प्रार्थना गर्ने सबैप्रति हृदयदेखि आभार व्यक्त गरेका छन्।

समाजका पीडित, असहाय र विपन्न वर्गको पक्षमा निरन्तर आवाज उठाउँदै आएका सामाजिक अभियन्ता तथा पत्रकार राजन थापा आज आफैं प्राकृतिक विपत्तिको चपेटामा परेका छन्। जीवनभर अरूको दुःखमा साथ दिँदै आएका थापा आफ्नै घर पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा परेपछि केही समयका लागि परिवारसहित त्रासपूर्ण अवस्थामा बस्न बाध्य भए।
तारकेश्वर नगरपालिका–१, साँगलास्थित उनको साढे दुईतले पक्की घरको पर्खाल लगातारको अविरल वर्षापछि भत्किँदा घर पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा परेको हो। जोखिम बढ्दै गएपछि घरभित्र बस्नसमेत असुरक्षित अवस्था सिर्जना भएको थियो।
घटनाबारे जानकारी प्राप्त हुनासाथ तारकेश्वर नगरपालिकाका नगर प्रमुख, नगर उपप्रमुख, वडा नं. १ का कार्यवाहक वडा अध्यक्ष, नगर प्रहरी तथा प्राविधिक टोली घटनास्थलमा पुगेर स्थलगत निरीक्षण, जोखिम मूल्याङ्कन तथा तत्काल आवश्यक समन्वय गरेका थिए। समयमै भएको उक्त पहलले सम्भावित ठूलो मानवीय क्षति टरेको स्थानीयले बताएका छन्।
घटनापछि भावुक बनेका थापाले आफू र आफ्नो परिवार सुरक्षित रहनुमा स्थानीय सरकार तथा उद्धारमा खटिएका सबैको ठूलो योगदान रहेको बताए।
उनले भने, "यदि नगर प्रमुख, नगर उपप्रमुख, वडा नं. १ का कार्यवाहक वडा अध्यक्ष, नगर प्रहरी र प्राविधिक टोली समयमै नआइपुगेको भए, आज म र मेरो परिवार माटोमुनि पुरिन सक्थ्यौं। उहाँहरूको समयमै भएको सहयोगले हामीलाई नयाँ जीवन दिएको छ।"
उनले विपद्को समयमा फोन, सामाजिक सञ्जाल तथा प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा चासो, हौसला र सहयोग व्यक्त गर्ने सबैप्रति पनि कृतज्ञता व्यक्त गरे।
"मैले जीवनमा कमाएको सबैभन्दा ठूलो सम्पत्ति धन होइन, यही समाज र यहाँका मानिसहरू हुन्। समस्या पर्दा जसले साथ दिनुभयो, हौसला दिनुभयो र प्रार्थना गर्नुभयो, उहाँहरू सबैप्रति म हृदयदेखि नै आभारी छु," उनले भने।
वर्षौंदेखि सामाजिक सेवामा सक्रिय थापा विपद् व्यवस्थापन, राहत वितरण, स्वास्थ्य शिविर, सामाजिक अभियान तथा पत्रकारितामार्फतट जनसरोकारका विषय उठाउँदै आएका छन्। अरूका समस्यामा सधैं अग्रसर रहने व्यक्ति आफ्नै संकटमा पर्दा स्थानीय सरकार, सुरक्षाकर्मी तथा समुदायले देखाएको ऐक्यबद्धताले मानवीय संवेदनशीलताको उदाहरण प्रस्तुत गरेको स्थानीयवासी बताउँछन्।
हाल घर वरपरको पहिरो नियन्त्रण, पर्खाल संरक्षण तथा दीर्घकालीन सुरक्षा व्यवस्थापनका लागि थप प्राविधिक अध्ययन र आवश्यक संरक्षण कार्यको आवश्यकता रहेको जनाइएको छ। स्थानीयवासीले सम्बन्धित निकायसँग जोखिम न्यूनीकरणका कामलाई प्राथमिकताका साथ अघि बढाउन आग्रह गरेका छन्।

नारायणी अस्पताल घटनापछि पर्साका एसपी फेरबदल, पवन भट्टराईलाई जिम्मेवारी

वीरगञ्जस्थित नारायणी अस्पतालमा चिकित्सकमाथि भएको हातपातको घटनापछि विकसित सुरक्षा अवस्थालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै प्रहरी प्रधान कार्यालयले पर्साका जिल्ला प्रहरी प्रमुख (एसपी) सुदीप पाठकलाई सरुवा गरेको छ।
उनको स्थानमा काठमाडौं जिल्ला प्रहरी परिसरमा कार्यरत एसपी पवन भट्टराईलाई पर्साको नयाँ जिल्ला प्रहरी प्रमुखको जिम्मेवारी दिइएको छ।
एसपी भट्टराई भिड नियन्त्रण, सुरक्षा व्यवस्थापन तथा फिल्ड अपरेसनमा कुशल अधिकृतका रूपमा परिचित छन्। पछिल्लो घटनापछि जिल्लाको शान्ति–सुरक्षा व्यवस्थापनलाई थप प्रभावकारी बनाउने उद्देश्यले प्रहरी नेतृत्वमा परिवर्तन गरिएको जनाइएको छ।

State-of-the-art hospital to treat complex diseases of the mouth and face to start in Nepal, reducing the need to travel abroad
Kathmandu Rajan Thapa Nepalese suffering from complex diseases of the face, jaw and mouth will now be able to receive state-of-the-art treatment at home. As a new ray of hope for thousands of patients who have been forced to travel abroad for the treatment of such diseases for years, the construction process of Nepal's first state-of-the-art maxillofacial hospital has been started in the Chabahil area of Kathmandu.
Om Samaj Dental Hospital, which has been providing services in the dental health sector for a long time, has announced the construction of a hospital fully dedicated to the treatment of complex diseases related to the mouth, teeth, jaw, face and neck. It is believed that after the hospital comes into operation, patients who are forced to travel abroad for special treatment will receive world-class service at home.
Although complex surgical services related to the mouth and face are available in Nepal, a fully dedicated and modern technology-equipped maxillofacial hospital structure has not been built so far. The hospital administration has stated that this ambitious project has been taken forward with the aim of addressing this shortage.
The project is being led by Dr. Subhash Ghimire, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Ghimire, who has extensive experience and expertise in the field of dental health, is known as an active physician in complex oral, maxillofacial surgeries in Nepal.
According to Dr. Ghimire, in recent years, there has been a significant increase in traffic accidents, industrial accidents, oral and facial cancers, internal tumors, serious infections, and congenital malformations in Nepal. He said that the number of patients suffering from serious injuries to the face and jaw, especially due to road accidents, is increasing day by day.
According to him, not getting timely treatment for such patients not only physically but also mentally and socially has a huge impact. Many patients end up in a situation where treatment is delayed or not received at all due to financial constraints.
Dr. Ghimire says with emotion,
“Many patients suffering from facial disfigurement, jaw fractures or oral cancer after accidents cannot get timely treatment due to financial constraints. There are also examples where some patients are forced to sell their houses and go abroad for treatment. It is our responsibility to change this situation.”
According to him, complex facial and oral surgeries are not possible for general dentists or general surgeons. Such treatments require specially trained maxillofacial surgeons, state-of-the-art equipment and high-level infrastructure.
Dr. Ghimire said,
“The main objective of the hospital we are going to build is to reduce the compulsion to go abroad for treatment. We believe that Nepali patients should get safe, affordable and world-class services in their own country.”
The hospital under construction will have state-of-the-art facilities such as a state-of-the-art operation theater, 3D digital imaging and scanning system, in-house laboratory, ICU service, emergency room, anesthesia department, facial trauma unit and operative recovery ward.
The hospital aims to provide treatment for patients with facial injuries due to accidents, jaw fractures, oral and facial cancers, tumors, congenital malformations and other complex diseases under one roof.
In addition, there are plans to develop the hospital not only as a treatment center but also as a center for research, training and development of new technologies, Dr. Ghimire informed. According to him, the hospital will play an important role in producing skilled maxillofacial specialists in Nepal in the future.
The hospital also plans to train young doctors, introduce modern technology and collaborate with international-level health institutions.
Active in the dental health service sector, Om Samaj Dental Hospital has been providing affordable and quality services for the past few years. In addition, the hospital has been conducting free health camps, public awareness programs and social service activities at various places.
The hospital has stated that it has given priority to the campaign to provide health services, especially to rural and underprivileged communities.
This hospital, which is being built in the Chabahil area, is seen as not just a health institution but a project linked to the hopes, faith and future of thousands of patients.
If the construction is completed as planned and the service starts, it is expected to usher in a new era in the field of maxillofacial treatment in Nepal. It is believed that this will reduce the treatment costs of Nepali patients and make a significant contribution to the expansion of modern health services in the country.

एकैदिन दुई स्थानमा ॐ समाज डेण्टल अस्पतालको निःशुल्क दन्त स्वास्थ्य शिविर, सयौं नागरिक तथा २९० विद्यार्थी लाभान्वित

काठमाडौं। ॐ समाज डेण्टल अस्पतालले सामाजिक सेवाप्रतिको आफ्नो प्रतिबद्धतालाई निरन्तरता दिँदै आइतबार काठमाडौं र ललितपुरमा एकैदिन दुई स्थानमा निःशुल्क दन्त स्वास्थ्य शिविर सञ्चालन गरेको छ। शिविरमार्फत स्थानीय नागरिक तथा विद्यालयका २९० विद्यार्थीसहित सयौं सेवाग्राहीले निःशुल्क दन्त परीक्षण, उपचारसम्बन्धी परामर्श तथा मुख स्वास्थ्यबारे सचेतनामूलक शिक्षा प्राप्त गरेका छन्।

तार्केश्वर नगरपालिका–८ स्थित शिव मन्दिर परिसरमा सामाजिक रूपान्तरणका लागि नागरिक समाजको आयोजनामा बिहान ७ बजेदेखि ११ बजेसम्म सञ्चालन भएको शिविरमा स्थानीय बासिन्दाहरूको दाँत तथा मुख स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गरिएको थियो। ॐ समाज डेण्टल अस्पताल बनस्थली शाखाकी प्रमुख सबिना पपन गुरुङको नेतृत्वमा रहेको विशेषज्ञ टोलीले सेवा प्रदान गर्दै दन्त रोगको समयमै पहिचान र रोकथामबारे आवश्यक परामर्श दिएको थियो।

त्यसैगरी, ललितपुरको सानेपास्थित Shining Star Boarding School मा सामाजिक रूपान्तरणका लागि नागरिक समाजको आयोजना तथा ॐ समाज डेण्टल अस्पतालको सहकार्यमा सम्पन्न निःशुल्क दन्त स्वास्थ्य शिविरमा नर्सरीदेखि कक्षा १० सम्म अध्ययनरत २९० जना विद्यार्थीको दन्त परीक्षण गरिएको थियो। शिविरको नेतृत्व अस्पतालका क्याम्प प्रमुख धन प्रसाद घिमिरेले गरेका थिए। विद्यार्थीहरूलाई दाँतको उचित हेरचाह, नियमित ब्रस गर्ने तरिका, स्वस्थ खानपान र मुख स्वास्थ्यको महत्वबारे व्यवहारिक जानकारीसमेत प्रदान गरिएको थियो।

कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै **सामाजिक रूपान्तरणका लागि नागरिक समाजका अध्यक्ष यम जी.सी.**ले स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रत्येक नागरिकको आधारभूत अधिकार भएको उल्लेख गर्दै यस्ता निःशुल्क शिविरले समाजमा सकारात्मक परिवर्तन ल्याउने विश्वास व्यक्त गरे। उहाँले भन्नुभयो, "बच्चाको मुस्कान जोगाउनु भनेको भविष्य जोगाउनु हो। विद्यालयमै पुगेर स्वास्थ्य सेवा दिनु उपचार मात्र होइन, स्वस्थ पुस्ता निर्माण गर्ने अभियान हो। समाज परिवर्तनका लागि यस्ता सहकार्यहरू अझ व्यापक बन्न आवश्यक छ।"

क्याम्प प्रमुख धन प्रसाद घिमिरेले विद्यालयमै पुगेर बालबालिकाको दन्त परीक्षण गर्न पाउनु ठूलो सन्तुष्टिको विषय भएको बताउँदै भन्नुभयो, "धेरै बालबालिकाले सामान्य समस्यालाई पनि बेवास्ता गरिरहेका हुन्छन्। समयमै परीक्षण र सचेतनाले भविष्यमा हुने जटिल समस्या रोक्न सक्छ। हामी उपचार मात्र होइन, स्वस्थ बानी बसाल्ने अभियानमा छौं। एउटा स्वस्थ मुस्कानले आत्मविश्वास र उज्ज्वल भविष्यको ढोका खोल्छ।"

बनस्थली शाखाकी प्रमुख सबिना पपन गुरुङले दन्त स्वास्थ्यलाई समग्र स्वास्थ्यको महत्वपूर्ण आधारका रूपमा लिनुपर्ने बताउँदै भावुक हुँदै भन्नुभयो, "सेवा नै हाम्रो धर्म हो। कुनै नागरिक आर्थिक अभावका कारण दन्त उपचारबाट वञ्चित हुन नपरोस् भन्ने उद्देश्यले हामी समुदाय–समुदायमा पुगिरहेका छौं। बिरामीको अनुहारमा मुस्कान फर्किएको देख्नु नै हाम्रो सबैभन्दा ठूलो उपलब्धि र प्रेरणा हो।"
