A combination of two red pennons (pennants) with the large blue border around the unique shape of two overlapping right triangles: the smaller upper triangle bears the white stylised moon (the rising sun on the horizontal crescent moon) and the larger lower triangle displays the white twelve-pointed sun.

HAPPY INDRAJATRA

Lord Indra came to Kathmandu disguised as an ordinary man and tried to steal a special flower called "Parijat" for his mother. Local tantriks, with their power of tantras caught him red handed and bound his hands. Later, after he confessed his sin and made ready to bless the city, he was released. And, people began to celebrate the Indra Jatra festival.

This is the third time I watched Namrataa Shrestha (one of the popular actress of Nepal) in a play after “Oleanna” in 2011, and “Yerma” in 2014. After all these years, she has the same charm and aura. She is still able to dazzle us with her performance playing as Loorna Moon, the girlfriend of protagonist Joe Bonaparte (Amrit Dahal). Even the kiss she had with one of the character was so passionate and real that you could hear 100 cameras clicking at once as everybody wanted to capture that moment.
