Creative Mojo is an idea I have been working on for past one year. The sole objective is to freely distribute my real wealth โ accumulated professional knowledge over the last 30 years. Use it to mentor young talent and give them the professional guidance and shape their careers.
The objective was clear, now came the tricky part the presentation โ the logo. A logo is very critical to all communication. In simple marketing terms, a good logo grabs attention, makes a strong first impression, is the foundation of your brand identity, is memorable, separates you from competition, fosters brand loyalty.
But how do you design a logo when you are the product and what you are offering does not have a physical form with any traditional tangible benefits.
You look towards the heavens and seek spiritual guidance.
Thatโs what I did.
My inspiration has always been my mother and for her it was Lord Ganesha. Although she had no religious leanings, she was possessed by the beauty of Lord Ganesha and had an amazing collection of Lord Ganesha figurines. Growing up, I was surrounded by them and it also became my source of inspiration, especially in my art classes.
Mojo literally means a magic charm, talisman, or spell. No one needs it more than people in the creative field.

Ganeshaโs form is highly charming and mesmerizing. The form of Lord Ganesh evokes our imaginations and pleases us beyond compare, there is also deep spiritual symbolism behind the form of Lord Ganesh.
A famous sloka dedicated to Lord Ganesh describes him thus.

Meaning: I worship the Lord with a curved trunk and huge body with the effulgence of a core suns. Let him remove the obstacles to all my deeds and lead them to fulfillment.
Thus, we find Ganesha having a huge body and an elephant face. The huge belly symbolizes the created universe. The elephant head is the symbol of Gyan. In Ganapati Atharvanasirsha Upanishad we find different shades of deep symbolic meaning come out with regard to Lord Ganeshaโs form. In this Upanishad, Ganesha is identified with the supreme Brahman and the highest head of the created universe.
Interesting symbolism behind Lord Ganeshaโs form and its incorporation in the logo
ยท Usually elephants are the path makers in forests. When an elephant passes through thick woods, a way is created for the other animals to follow. Lord Ganesh is worshiped first before starting anything new. Lord Ganesha clears the obstacles and paves the way for us to move forward in life. The bold san serif letter โMโ symbolizes the mammoth body of the elephant that clears the path towards acquiring new knowledge.
ยท The large elephant head of Lord Ganesha symbolizes wisdom, understanding, and a discriminating intellect that one must possess to attain perfection in life. If you look closely, the top of the letter โJโ in the logo is shaped in form of an elephant head and the trishul is also graphically represented in form of a nib of the pen, the point where all creativity starts.
ยท The trunk can hold anything and everything existent in this universe. Likewise, the individuals should possess qualities of high adaptability and efficiency in life. This in other words can make them attune to any circumstances of life. The lower half of โJโ in logo is shaped in form of the trunk, to hold and retain the knowledge.
ยท The elephant eyes are said to possess natural deceptiveness that allows them to perceive objects to be bigger than what they really are. Thus it indicates to surrender one's pride and attain humility. The two โOโ symbolize the eyes, to observe and gain insight into peopleโs behavior and aspiration and understand them better.
There is more to ancient, spiritual wisdom and if you look closely and wildly stretch oneโs own imagination, the universe is the limit.
