"Fatal crash, Brookby"

One person has died following a single vehicle crash in Brookby, west of Clevedon on Friday 24 July.

Emergency services were called to Brookby Road, at the intersection with Richardson Road, shortly before 11:30pm.

One person received critical injuries and was transported to hospital, while a second person received minor injuries.

Sadly, the critically injured person has today died in hospital.

Enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.

The eastbound lane of Whitford Road is blocked following a single vehicle crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to Whitford Road, Whitford at 7.20am

One person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Motorists are advised to expect delays.

New Pine Harbour to Waiheke Fast Ferry Service!

Sealink has announced a summer trial ferry service from Pine Harbour to Waiheke. The 15-minute ferry ride will be trialled on:

17–18 January

23–26 January (including services leading into Auckland Anniversary Weekend)

31 January – 1 February

6–8 February (Waitangi Weekend)
