The strongest marketing strategies compound over time.

Markets shift. Economies change. Businesses grow.

Your marketing should evolve with them.

A solid strategy sets the direction. Real progress comes from what happens next - testing, learning, and refining along the way.

At Little Seed Collective, we bring those two worlds together.

We set the strategy, then work alongside our clients each month to review results, explore insights, and evolve the approach.

Strategy. Test. Refine. Scale.

That steady rhythm of reflection and refinement builds momentum that lasts.

How do you build space for learning and adjustment into your marketing process?

Ready to step up your marketing?

Here's three ways we can help:

1. Marketing strategy:
We start by defining what success looks like for your business. Then we build a clear plan to get you there. Now’s the time to plan for 2026 - so you can come back after Christmas refreshed and ready to go.

2. Marketing coaching:
Running it all yourself? Or have an in-house marketer who’d benefit from professional development? We provide practical coaching that builds skills and confidence.

3. Fractional support:
Need a project delivered? Or just someone to take smaller tasks off your plate so you can focus on what you do best? That’s where we step in.

Whether you’re planning for next year, building your team’s skills, or just need a hand with projects, we're here to help.

Soft skills are just as important as technical skills - Nicola got curious about what tactics some of our recent interviewees lean on when life get busy or stressful.

For Sam at Undisturbed, it’s pausing to reflect and be grateful for how far he’s come. For copywriter and content coach; Lizzie, it’s reminding herself that as a business owner she has the freedom to do things differently. Ali at Ōtautahi Christchurch had two gems - naming the emotion she’s feeling so she can set it aside and focus on what she can control, and collaborating with the people around her to help manage energy levels as a team. And for Rachael at Studio Wren, it’s carving out space in her schedule to recharge and look after herself.

Each answer is different, but the common thread is self-awareness. Knowing what keeps you grounded (and giving yourself permission to lean into it) can make all the difference.

What’s your go-to when life gets busy?

Eight months ago, Nicola traded the security of a marketing career for the unknowns of running strategic marketing consultancy, Little Seed Collective.

Here’s the learnings so far:

1. Iterate as you go - every new insight is a chance to improve.

2. Advice is everywhere - listen, read and watch, then think critically. Ask the right questions of people you admire.

3. Set a vision, but don’t forget to celebrate how far you’ve come.

4. Being in business is an emotional rollercoaster - on tough days a walk, a hot shower, or connecting with loved ones can make all the difference.

5. Authenticity attracts opportunities. The right opportunities usually show up when you’re not looking for them.

6. Outsourcing is the key to freeing up your time so you can focus on growth.

What are your biggest learnings in business?

Sam is the founder of Undisturbed, a small-batch, premium meadery based in Christchurch.

Using ancient techniques, Undisturbed ferments natural New Zealand honey to create a product that’s as thoughtful as it is delicious.

Nicola caught up with Sam to hear what’s surprised him about the process, the moments that have made it all worth it, and the quiet decisions that help keep the business's environmental footprint low.

Thank you to P***y Brewster Craft Beer Fillery for having us!
