Financial education in Aotearoa is shifting fast, and our client Banqer is right at the centre of that change.

We’ve been partnering with their team through some big, defining moments: from reimagining product branding to supporting a major leadership transition with clear messaging, thoughtful comms, and PR that helped them show up strong in the national conversation.

Media training, narrative shaping, strategic guidance – the full suite. All to back a company genuinely transforming how young people learn about money.

With financial literacy becoming compulsory in schools, Banqer’s impact is only just getting started. Proud to be on the journey with them.

As part of our mahi for BB client The Arts Foundation, we've launched the Arts Business Club – inviting businesses around Aotearoa to back the arts. After all: business is creative, and requires courage and investment – so do the arts in New Zealand!

We're so grateful for the groundswell of support we've already received from businesses like One New Zealand, Xero, Barfoot & Thompson, Abe's Bagels.... and what a moment bringing them all together for our first ever Arts Foundation Arts Business Club Lunch: an opportunity not just to network, but to ask bigger questions about what our creative future needs from all of us.

Featuring one heck of a powerhouse panel: artists Cliff Curtis, Ladi6, and business leaders Dame Rosanne Meo and Sinead Boucher. So many good takes!

We're proud to keep building rooms where creativity, courage, business and community meet — not as separate worlds, but as collaborators shaping what comes next.

If you're keen to 'do business' with some of NZ's greatest creatives and supporters – get in touch.

Today we get to share something pretty special.

The 2026 Tower Insurance New Zealand Local Hero Medallists – 100 people who make Aotearoa better in ways that often go unseen – are officially live.

We’ve had the privilege of helping bring their stories together. This campaign is a reminder of why we do this work – not to create noise, but to create space for real people, real impact, and real stories to land.

Huge aroha to Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards, the judges, nominators, and every Local Hero Medallist recognised this year.

Meet all 100 medallists at nzawards.org.nz 💫

Full circle moments hit different.

Earlier this year, we helped our clients, The Arts Foundation launch Supernova – a crowdfunding campaign that raised over $250,000 in just one month to power the next generation of artists.

Today, that impact becomes real: nominations are now open for Springboard 2026, with 16 early-career artists set to receive mentorship and support – 10 more than before, thanks to Supernova.

The future of creativity in Aotearoa looks brighter than ever 🌟 Proud to have played a small part in helping it shine.

Nominate by Friday 5 December 2025. It only takes a few minutes so get those noms in!

In moments of pressure, clarity is everything.

After a major flood forced Te Tuhi to close their gallery for months of repair and refurbishment, they came to us needing strategic comms to engage their community with confidence and care.

What began as urgent communications evolved into a long-term engagement and PR strategy – amplifying their work beyond their immediate network and setting them up to reopen their contemporary art gallery with gusto next year.

We worked alongside their team to build understanding, strengthen relationships, and tell the story of an organisation grounded in integrity, creativity, and purpose.

Now, as we roll out that plan, we’re proud to keep supporting a gallery whose energy and kaupapa we genuinely love.

Every year, we have the honour of delivering this incredible kaupapa, celebrating people who are changing the game, lifting communities, and making Aotearoa proud. 💥

A huge mihi to our BB loaf Ainsleigh Nijssen, who (alongside our systems genius Keiren Nelson) has been wrangling BB Accounts like a boss for the past two years. She’s been the safest pair of hands – keeping our systems humming and our office running like clockwork.

Now, with three busy tamariki and a growing family business, it’s time for Ainsleigh to return full-time to her whānau. We’re going to miss her, but we couldn’t back her decision more.

Now: some big shoes are ready to be filled! We’re on the lookout for our next Accounts & Office Administrator to join us part-time (20 hours/week) in Ōtautahi. If you love tidy spreadsheets, paperless systems, and helping a small creative team work smarter, this could be your spot.

Applications close 27 August – https://www.seek.co.nz/job/86475813
