Finishing off designing a skincare brand 🧴 here’s what we did:

Step 1: Packaging inspiration

Looking at what’s already in the market to find the gaps and figuring out how Paume will stand out in the skincare space 🧐

Step 2: The label design

I always start with the actual product first. Cleanser, serum and SPF for a super simple daily routine 🤍

Step 3: The packaging design

Matte finish with spot UV gloss details so you can actually see and feel the difference. So premium and calm (I am obsessed 😍).

Step 4: The mockups

These took wayyy longer than expected but switching to a film camera look changed everything and it just felt so right!

And that’s Paume 🤍 a full skincare brand identity and packaging design from scratch.

Step 1: The logo

Using the chosen mood board (Nature Meets Skin) I ended up drawing a logo from scratch as none of the fonts fit my vision!

Step 2: Supporting logos

I got inspired by wrought iron and wax seals for a heritage and slightly french feel on the full logo suite

Step 3: Typography and colors

It was such a struggle to find fonts that both fit the brand and looked good together, but we got there in the end. I also tweaked the green for visibility purposes

Step 4: Finishing touches

I created the abstract brand pattern inspired from the natural layers in trees and rocks. I also made some brand assets which look super cute as stickers or icons!

1 - Mudstone Sans (Adobe Fonts)
2- Lust Sans (Adobe Fonts)
3 - Sausage (Adobe Fonts)
4 - Sunbeat (Adobe Fonts)
5 - Plus Jakarta Sans (Google Fonts)

Feel free to take inspo from these 5 fonts when designing for a brand or design project!
