**VIRTUAL WORK-FROM-HOME CONTRACTOR WANTED – B2B CALLING**
I’m currently working on closing more clients and preparing Funny Telemarketer Limited for its next stage of growth.
I’m looking for a reliable, experienced person to work virtually from home as a casual independent contractor, helping with B2B prospecting and appointment setting as client work becomes available.
**IMPORTANT: You must be a confident Kiwi-style communicator.** You need to sound natural talking with New Zealand business people, understand Kiwi business culture, and be comfortable having genuine conversations with senior decision makers.
This is not guaranteed-hours employment. Some weeks may have 5–10 hours, other weeks less or none. You tell me what hours you can commit to, and once you commit, I expect them to be completed.
**THE WORK**
• Call businesses and corporate decision makers
• B2B prospecting and appointment setting
• Book face-to-face and virtual meetings
• Work from client-provided prospect data
• Receive ongoing training from me
• Sometimes call alongside me while learning the method
A background in business, HR, law, management, professional services, corporate sales or experienced telemarketing would be useful.
**I’M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:**
• A confident Kiwi-style communicator
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Comfortable picking up the phone
• Confident speaking with senior decision makers
• Able to work independently from home
• Able to commit to agreed hours and actually complete them
**YOU NEED:**
• Computer
• Reliable internet
• Cellphone with unlimited calling
• Suitable place to make professional calls
**WHAT I DON’T WANT**
If you commit to 10 hours, I don’t want Friday arriving with only two hours completed.
I’m not looking for someone who needs to be chased, regularly cancels at the last minute, avoids making calls, or sounds like they are reading from a call-centre script.
**Contractor rate: $28 per hour INCLUDING GST.**
