I had the BEST client meeting last week and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Not because of anything flashy. Because of something I’m learning is quietly extraordinary that I get to witness everyday.
You see, started last year with a humble goal - 20 tours for their first season. They’ve gone and smashed it with an almost fully booked season. Twenty became “where do we fit everyone in?” Jayde at bravely purchased an existing studio and is doing the quiet, loyal work of nurturing its client base while upgrading every part of the experience building the kind of movement community Invercargill deserves.
Charlie and Zara of .club are steadily growing a non-alcoholic subscription box that’s turning “sober” into something you raise a glass to. Not a sacrifice. A celebration. And Amy at (years into her journey) still shows up with her whole heart for every single mover who walks through her doors. Unwavering excellence, every class.
These people are my heroes.
Not because they’ve gone viral. Not because they’ve scaled to seven figures. Because starting a business is a leap off a cliff, it’s an educated gamble where you pray you’ll be caught, carried, and somehow grow wings on the way down.
And these founders? They’re bravely flying.
If you’re in the thick of it right now, building something from nothing, wondering if it’s working, showing up even when it’s hard this one’s for you.
