Well done to the Vantage Black Sticks, who are competing in the 2026 FIH Nations Cup. The women’s team is defending home turf in Auckland, while the men’s team is representing New Zealand in South Africa, with both teams topping their pools and securing places in the semi-finals.

We’re proud to back teams, events and initiatives that reflect the performance, commitment and pride we value as a New Zealand business. Through our Vantage brand, APL has proudly backed hockey, and we’re delighted to see the Vantage Black Sticks take that momentum into the semi-finals at the FIH Nations Cup.

A great morning for our staff yesterday, welcoming Damian McKenzie to APL as he celebrated 150 games for the Chiefs and reflected on last week’s win over the Crusaders. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to hear from Damian, recognise an incredible milestone, and enjoy a quick Q&A.

Pivot doors have long been a feature of high-end architectural homes. APL's new pivot door system means you can now specify them with more scale than ever before.

The door was developed in partnership with FritsJurgens, Europe’s leading pivot hardware specialist based in the Netherlands. The concealed top-and-bottom pivot mechanism transfers panel loads vertically rather than laterally, significantly reducing stress on the door frame and surrounding structure.

This means greater design freedom, improved long-term performance, and the ability to specify larger, heavier entrance panels with confidence.
