Pregnant and clicking on broken links… not my vibe. 🤰💻❌
Lately, I’ve been looking for some support for my growing pregnant body — you know, relaxing, gentle ways to ease the load a bit.
Naturally, I turned to Google.
One of the first websites I clicked on was a local pregnancy hub.
It should be a GOOD source of information and resources.
But wow… I got a 404 error, outdated pages, and links to support businesses that don’t even work there anymore. 😩
As a pregnant woman, already feeling physically and emotionally stretched as I scrolled at night, this was discouraging.
(And frustrating, because... babies don’t schedule themselves around broken websites.)
And it got me thinking...
If your website is riddled with broken links and old info, what message is that sending?
Because from where I sit "quite pregnant" and looking for help ... it says:
⛔ We're not paying attention
⛔ We're not up to date
⛔ We're not making it easy for you
I mean hashtag make up half the population, and we literally grow the next generation.
..surely that makes pregnancy support a 🔥hot market🔥
So why make it so hard to find help?
This isn’t just about user experience.
It’s SEO 101:
✔️ Broken links hurt your rankings
✔️ Outdated info kills trust
✔️ Confusing navigation makes people bounce
Whether you're a service-based business, a non-profit, or a wellness provider Y>o>u>r> website should serve the people looking for you.
Especially when those people are exhausted, hormonal, and just want to lie down.
So here’s your gentle nudge from an SEO strategist (who's also growing a human):
✨ Check your links.
✨ Update your content.
✨ Make it easy for people to get the support they’re looking for.
Pregnant people (and your potential clients) will thank you. 🙏
Rant Over🤣
