A Successful Demo Day with Our New VSS Bliss Vineyard Sprayer

The Intelligent Spray Application® (I.S.A.) from Hol Spraying Systems enhances the efficiency of the H.S.S. CF series orchard sprayers.

Equipped with three cutting-edge detection sensors on each side of the spray tower, real-time leaf mass detection is achieved. The system intelligently keeps caps closed for spaces exceeding 10 centimeters, ensuring optimal coverage.

These advanced sensors not only detect leaf mass but also capture tree shapes and height data. When integrated with GPS, precise mapping of plant growth is facilitated. This valuable information serves as a basis for creating customized task cards for growth regulation and fertilization.

Recently, Vertical Spraying Solutions (VSS) hosted the Croplands HSS dealer network at our new workshop & office in Hastings for a HSS Focus week.
It was great to meet some of the other new HSS dealers in NZ, as well as catch up again with the Croplands team we work with - & share our knowledge & experience of the HSS brand & its orchard sprayers with them. We were also very pleased to have Mattijs van Dijk, HSS's Operations & Business Manager, here with us from the Netherlands for the week.
The Focus week also tied in very nicely with the delivery of our new suite of orchard sprayers, namely:
- 3-row, 3,000 litre HSS sprayer
- Single-row, 2,000 litre HSS I.S.A. (Intelligent Spray Application) sprayer
- Single row, 2,000 litre HSS sprayer &
- Single row, 3,000 litre HSS sprayer

We are delighted that the latest HSS CF3000-3 sprayer for Turley Farms in South Canterbury has arrived safely, albeit a little bit delayed with current shipping processes & timeframes.
Val, one of Vertical Spraying Solutions (VSS) highly experienced technicians, will be assembling & commissioning the new sprayer this week.
The HSS CF3000-3 sprayer is European designed & engineered. It has a 3,000 litre tank & sprays 3 orchard rows at a time. In New Zealand orchards, these sprayers typically cover 6-7 hectares per hour. Like the rest of the HSS range, the sprayer is low maintenance, easy to operate & delivers great performance.
The HSS CF3000-3 sprayer is obviously doing the job for Turley Farms, as this is the 2nd machine they have now purchased! Thank you to the Turley Farms team - we appreciate your business & support.
