The site is all about connecting people.. Search for and find every Kaiapoi Shop, business, services, places to eat, drink, visit and shop

Creators of the "Kaiapoi Flyer" a map of 150 businesses, things to do, events, and exclusive deals. I want to provide links for people that are wither

living or visiting Kaiapoi so as they can Support & Shop Local. More people visiting Kaiapoi shops will increase the local economy, businesses will grow and prosper and that in turn will bring more and more people to live out here. I am shamelessly passionate about Kaiapoi, We moved here some years ago and fell in love with the place and in the main it was because of the friendly people, it am reminded of the tv program title song “Cheers, where you go to the bar and everyone knows your name”… I believe Kaiapoi has that type of feel to it, people are friendly and welcoming and there are lots of things happening for you to get involved in. I hope the website, when someone searches for Kaiapoi, especially someone looking for a service or a business type and what is happening in Kaiapoi, they will find everything here. So that in short is why I have started this directory service. It is a free service, you can place your business listing here, you can tell us about your event, or any news you wanted reported. If you have a business, service, are part of a club or group that is not showing on https://kaiapoi.info/ please pop in and create a free listing

Have your say on the Head Start pathway.. we want to hear your thoughts

📢 Have Your Say on the Future of Local Government in our region

The Government has released its Head Start Pathway framework, which sets out a process for the disestablishment of regional councils and the creation of unitary councils through amalgamation.

We want to hear what Waimakariri residents think.

Take a few minutes to learn more and share your views through our Let's Talk page: https://letstalk.waimakariri.govt.nz/head-start-pathway

We've also taken the extra step of emailing and writing to all ratepayers, so keep an eye on your inbox and letterbox for more information.

You can also come along to one of our community drop-in sessions, where you'll be able to talk with elected members and staff, ask questions, and find out more about the consultation:

📍 Council Chambers, Rangiora – 24 June, 6.00pm–8.00pm
📍 Ruataniwha Centre, Kaiapoi – 30 June, 6.00pm–8.00pm
📍 Oxford Jaycee Hall, Oxford – 1 July, 6.00pm–8.00pm

Consultation closes on 5 July.

Visit our Let's Talk page today and make sure your voice is heard!
