Here is Part 2 of the can you tell what it is?!
We've had a couple of good guesses, but no one is onto it yet. And we don't think anyone will figure it out!
This was a big 2 day print that we did out of a much planer PETG not our multi-colored PLA.
Ah well go with the flow and all will be revealed.

Check it out, here we have a great practical print. it is a minimalized and portable bike wheel truing guide. Isn't it wonderful that 3D printing has made it possible to make super functional tools super cheap.

Here is is being used after a good muddy ride. We are told the bike was cleaned afterwards!

One of our co-directors recently showcased their design skills with a functional creation: a new door handle for a shed. The previous handle had broken, prompting Neil to step in. He measured the turning section of the handle and carefully crafted a custom replacement that seamlessly fit and functions beautifully!

This is just one example of the incredible versatility of 3D printing. In the past, finding the perfect replacement for a broken item like this would have required visits to numerous stores or even hiring someone to install an entirely new handle. With 3D printing, we can easily create tailored solutions for various household items.

One of the filaments I absolutely love working with is the dual-tone Pink-Blue PLA. It has the incredible ability to turn any design into a mesmerizing color-changing piece. Articulated prints, in particular, showcase this effect beautifully, making them not only stunning to look at but also fun to play with.

Here's one of our earlier prints featuring an articulated dragon from Thingiverse. This little guy has received considerable attention whenever we showcase it, making him one of our all-time favorite articulated pieces.

We've got some new color-changing filaments in stock, so keep an eye out to see more cool effects in a fresh colour range.

Another figurine print we have been working on, the majestic Charizard! Growing up with Pokemon has always given me a soft spot towards these creatures, and 5 year old me would have been blown away that in the future I would be printing them myself.

This guy is scheduled to be painted, so stay tuned for the results!

Introducing our latest venture: custom printed pet tags! As part of our desire to craft unique pet accessories, we are getting started at producing designs ready to print for your favourite pet.

To kickstart this product range, we designed a special tag for our co-director's adorable pup, Luna. Drawing inspiration from a fun STL moon pattern found online, we brought the design to life using contrasting PLA+ filament colors for each section, and adhering them together to achieve a stunning moon effect. Luna's name was seamlessly incorporated into the print, adding a personalized touch.

Luna eagerly awaits when the custom tag will be placed on her collar as she can't wait to show it off to all the other dogs. Stay tuned for more pet tag designs, and get in touch if you want us to create one for your furry friend!

We are exploring an aspect of 3D printing that piques our interest: creating enjoyable dress-ups and cosplays. Our friend provided us with inspiration by printing a unique mechanical hand piece that Neil incorporated into his "every character from The Wizard of Oz" costume.

Each component was 3D printed and assembled with screws to form a functional glove that fits perfectly over your hand. It is these types of innovations that ignite our enthusiasm, as they offer countless opportunities to bring characters to life. We have even enhanced Neil's cosplay by pairing it with a fun AI-generated background, adding an extra flair to the costume.

We wanted to give you a timelapse preview of how our printers operate! Here we have Otto the Octopus (as seen in a previous post) as he is being printed in our Silk White PLA filament.

Due to how fiddly the little leg articulations were and the smooth surface of the filament, we had to add a raft layer underneath the print to keep everything from coming off the print bed. We also used organic supports to print the sections that had a steeper overhang, which you can see as attached to the eyes and mouth section of the print. When the print was done, we simply had to remove the raft layer and pop the teee supports off the front, then he was ready to go!
