Tokoroa Tarmac 2026 was absolute chaos!

Full sends, big commitment, engine sounds and more than a few VERY close calls!

We captured some awesome moments from throughout the event now the full video is live!

A day of hard launches, big speed, loud cars and plenty of action down the airstrip.

The 1/4 mile brought out a huge mix of cars, with everyone getting the chance to line up, send it and see what they could do across the strip.

From the staging lanes through to the finish, there was always something happening exactly the kind of grassroots motorsport event that makes for a great day out.

Slow it down and let the car do the talking. šŸ”„

Uppercrust bakery motorsport car attacking the hairpin weight transfer, commitment, and that perfect bit of rotation caught in slow motion.

This is the kind of rally action I want to capture more of: not just the speed, but the detail you normally miss in real time. Motorsport Bay of Plenty Inc

My first YouTube video is LIVE!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been patient with me while Iā€™ve been getting everything together this is only the beginning.

Iā€™m starting to move more towards covering events through video, while still keeping one of my main goals with photography getting strong shots of the main drivers, ideally within their first run (lol highly stressfully) so I can then focus more heavily on filming the rest of the event.

It definitely isnā€™t an easy task trying to balance both photo and video, and Iā€™m still learning every event and pacing sorry as I said I didnā€™t get you in photos but I definitely will have you in video.

I really appreciate everyone who has given feedback, supported the page, shared the work, or simply followed along so far. Every bit of it helps.

Thereā€™s plenty more coming. šŸŽ„

Mud on the doors. Stones in the air. A GR Yaris absolutely committed.

This is the stuff I love capturing not just the car, but the split second where everything looks alive.

Testing days have a different kind of energy. No trophies, no crowds, just drivers pushing, learning, adjusting and sending it again.

The GR Yaris Rally Cup New Zealand is seriously exciting to watch, and Iā€™m hoping 2027 brings even more of these little weapons to the stages. GR New Zealand R2G - Rally Race Group

A few frames from the GR Yaris Rally Cup NZ Testing Day plenty of speed, plenty of noise, and a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes.

Pretty awesome getting the chance to photograph these cars being put through their paces and capture some of what goes into the testing before race day.

Thanks again for having me along. šŸ“ø

A chance to get some valuable kilometres in, make the final tweaks, and get everything dialled before heading north.

Best of luck to Ben and the FORCE Motorsport team for International Rally of Whangarei! šŸ‘Š
