Attending for the first time the yearly Plane Spotting Competition organised by the Nelson Airport New Zealand. There were 150 entries this year, which is almost double the amount compared to last year.
So excited to become the winner of the smartphone category with my full moon picture taken in December on my way for one of the training weekend with the New Zealand Floorball National team.
I am grateful for this experience and the opportunity to share my perspective through the lens of my phone.
Thanks to all sponsors who made this event possible.
The prize is unbelievable - 30 minute trial flight 🤯
It was great pleasure to meet Struan, the chief flight instructor at New Zealand Aviation Academy and I am looking forward to control the aircraft on my own in the air under his guidance👨‍✈️
It was also nice to catch up with Alex who won the very first Plane Spotting Competition in 2023 when it all begin. This year he was runner-up in the open category👏.
I got hooked and I’ll share more of my perspectives next year 🙂📸

🪇🌞What an amazing sunny day in Nelson at the Nelson Latin Fiesta 2025 two weeks ago. Latin Fiesta NZ brought this vibrant event to Nelson for the very first time.
Such a pleasure capturing beautiful people having great day, 💃🕺 and enjoying themselves at Founders Heritage Park.

Let me give you a taste of amazing and🔥Salsa by the Sea - SBK Party at The Boathouse, Nelson.
Event kicked off with a Cuban Salsa Workshop led by our local Pablo from NelsonSon Dance & Entertainment.
Latin tunes mixed by another local legend DJ Uli followed by Saione from Viva Dance, who made a fun group dance together with Robert from Blenheim NorthWest Salsa during the night.
We also had Annie Giles, the Original Salsa Queen of Nelson as a host MC.
All this was perfect recipe for a very special night. Great vibes in a company of friendly people who are sharing the same passion for connecting through the latin rhytms.

Last Saturday was great day for latin dancers in ☀️Nelson.
Thanks to Saione Viva, who flew down from Auckland's Viva Dance school and local Elly Aleksich, we could enjoy afternoon KIZOMBA workshop in The Boathouse, Nelson.
I really enjoyed Saione's tips and tricks that helped me to finally connect old moves with new ones so I could go more creative on the following evening Salsa by the Sea - SBK Party.
