Earlier this term, Whaea Micaela ran a competition where our tamariki were challenged to create a Puanga design for this year’s merch. We had so many awesome entries, and we are excited to announce that the winning design was created by Kobe Liddicoat from Room 15! 👏

Congratulations Kobe on your amazing design, we can’t wait to see our kura wearing it with pride!

Kobe (12 years old) shared the inspiration behind his design:

“I picked to do a design based on the community of Bell Block and how people of all ages come together, like our beautiful maunga. I have added the Puanga stars as we see them too.”
