Just a friendly reminder that daylight saving is happening this Sunday!
We’re going to save you the awkward little conversation you have in your own head every year...

“Wait... do the clocks go forward or back?”😂
Well, we can confirm: FORWARD by one hour!

Which means longer, lighter summer evenings are on their way.
The downside? You’ll lose an hour of sleep, so for the first week or so you may find yourself dragging yourself out of bed wondering why your brain feels like cabbage.

Thankfully, most smartphones will sort themselves out and you'll wake up looking at the correct hour of the morning. But those good old tick-tock clocks hanging on the wall? Not so much.

They'll be sitting there completely unaware that daylight saving has happened, happily telling you you're an hour behind... and potentially causing a very unnecessary panic as you race out the door thinking “I'M LATE!”

So before you go to bed Saturday night, maybe change those wall clocks before they cause you a minor heart attack on Sunday morning.

An urgent job popped up this week as some of the speedy team took a moment to save mama duck and her precious little babies that had made their way into our busy carparking space, it's also a very busy street, Gill Street.
They were ushered into a wind lobby so the team could get mama duck and her babies into a box together.

After a call with the vet to get suggestions on where they would be safe, Kevin, Wendy and Kirra took a drive down to the suggested spot and set them free.
