There’s work you make. And then there’s work that moves a region.
— Taranaki public transport network started as a question with :
How do we create something people don’t just use, but connect with?
Together with Taranaki Regional Council, we recommended and led a journey that began with workshops and honest conversations with community.
What followed was strategy, positioning, naming and identity of a new transport brand — built from the ground up.
A transport network that does more than move people. One that weaves a thread between communities, reduces distance, and brings Taranaki closer together.
We created the brand and identity of Te Pahi to feel warm, welcoming and human —
like someone who always has your back. Practical. Reliable. United. Fair.
A brand that doesn’t try too hard — because it knows its worth.

Seeing Te Pahi out in the world — on buses, in shelters, across the region — is something we’re incredibly proud of.

This is what happens when strategy leads.
This is what happens when you build with community.
This is Te Pahi.

For the past five years, the talented team at Strategy Collective have been our go-to for on-demand design and marketing support. They’ve helped us grow a brand built on generosity, connection, and purpose. 💛🌿🎥

Towards the end of last year, we celebrated a very special milestone, 10 years of Taranaki Foundation. It gave us the chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate a decade of generosity and impact. Strategy Collective played a key role in bringing this to life, weaving together storytelling, photography, and design. Through thoughtful branding, beautiful imagery, and an outstanding hero video telling the story of 10 years of impact, their work made our celebration truly special.
