Mahutonga Stud breeds big heavy horses for working & riding. Mahutonga is the Maori name for the Southern Cross, so right from the early brainstorming stages we knew we wanted to incorporate a 4 point design, horses, and of course the clients Maori heritage. The letter M - for Mahutonga - itself is an imperfect square, so I started thinking about how I could work horse heads into this letter, with a slight cultural nod when you looked closely. This was the end result! An M, horses, and a rough shape of a Hei-Tiki, representing the power of these beautiful animals. 💚

I am raising money for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, with a goal of covering 80km by foot over the remainder of this month, including the 5km Auckland Walk/Run For Mental Health. ❤
