Do you have an eye for capturing the perfect moment? Love social media and creating content that makes people stop scrolling? Well, we want YOU to help us bring the magic of the Caroline Bay Carnival to life! ✨

As our Content Gatherer, you’ll have a front-row seat to all the fun and excitement, helping us showcase the carnival through photos, videos, and more.

What you’ll do:
📸 Capture the vibe of the carnival, from mini-golf nights to the live bands.
🎥 Create engaging videos and social media content that bring our community together. (Optional you can send raw content to Rachael to create with)
🎡 Collaborate with the team to make every event a visual feast for our followers!

What we’re looking for:
🎯 A social media enthusiast with a creative eye
📷 Someone who loves creating content—whether it’s snapping photos, shooting video, or crafting the perfect post
🎉 A team player who’s excited to be a part of the carnival energy!
🌈 Someone that is based in Timaru. We can work with you around availability.

How to apply: We’re making this fun! To show us what you’ve got, submit your best carnival-inspired photo or video. It could be from a past event, or something that captures the fun, excitement, and community spirit we’re all about!

Post it to your social media with the hashtag and tag us in the post, or send it to us directly!

The strategy with the Caroline Bay social media has been maximum organic impact. Just by increasing our posting, changing the messaging, and creating some hype, I have increased reach massively, had a successful new product launch, and given the organizers the push to implement some new ideas.
