🧊 WE ARE HIRING 🧊

We are currently looking for a reliable candidate to help in the manufacturing and delivery of ice products at our factory on Industrial Place in Queenstown starting NOW, until the end of February 2026 💥

This is a full time roll, working days will be Wednesday to Sunday - potentially flexible with weekends if you want a 4 day week - but one day at the weekend is required.

We are a small family run business and you must understand that summer is our BUSIEST time of year - so we make ice while the sun shines! 🌞

🚚 Applicants would need a clean NZ drivers licence and no special licence is required to drive our trucks (a forklift licence gets you to the top of the pile!)

You need to be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved daily 💪

💥 Bagged and ready for action 💥

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on the social media front - life has been busy - but we’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the ice family🧂❄️🧊

Ready to hit the shelves, we have pallets of salted flake ice ready now (another exciting element to the business is that we are now able to palletise ice - but that’s a post for another day!) 🤫

Great if you want a slow melt, useful for displays or you are out on the boat all day and only the best will do to keep your catch (and your beers) cold 🐟🎣🦪🍻

Salted flake ice is colder than regular ice cubes because of the way that salt lowers the freezing point of water and because it has the most surface contact area of any other form of ice 💧 hence it lasting longer (approximately 3-5 times longer in a quality chilly bin).

The salt assists in reducing bacteria on fish skin, hence maintaining a fresher and better quality product 👌🏽

We are currently looking for a reliable candidate to help in the manufacturing and delivery of ice products at our factory on Industrial Place in Queenstown ✨ we are a small family run business and there is plenty of flexibility for the right person!

As there are different aspects of the job role it may suite someone that just wants a few hours a day or maybe you want full time - ideally it will be 4/5 days (which will definitely include weekends) with the understanding that the summer is our BUSIEST time of year - so we make ice while the sun shines ☀️🧊
