I’m so excited to share that I’m now working with the incredibly talented Ash Hanson, who has joined the AF team as an expert designer.

Ash is a skilled graphic designer and has also recently trained in surface design — the art of creating patterns, prints and visual designs that can be applied to products, textiles, packaging, stationery, interiors and more.

This brings such a beautiful added layer to the creative work we can offer our clients, especially when it comes to brand patterns, custom graphics, packaging details and creating a more distinctive visual identity.

Ash has a gorgeous eye for detail, a thoughtful design style and a fresh creative perspective, and I feel very lucky to have her supporting AF as we continue to grow.

Yesterday it was renovation progress.
Today it’s the softer layer.

In between dust, decisions and timelines, there’s the part of a home you don’t see on plans — the weight of a duvet, the way winter light falls across the bed in the late afternoon.

Last week Andy and I filmed the Moemoemoe duvets as they’ve been settling into our rooms.

Not overly styled.
Not showroom perfect.
Just lived with.

I’ve always loved that balance — building the structure, then shaping the feeling.

On Site in Raglan Today 🤍

Today was a special one for me — my first time heading onto the building site, with Dan from The Reno Guys, to create content, and what a place to start.

I spent the morning at the church renovation in Raglan, capturing photos and video of the progress and meeting the building team behind the scenes.

This isn’t a project where the structure is being changed — it’s about carefully working within what already exists, respecting the integrity of the building while thoughtfully upgrading it for the future.

What stood out most was the level of care being taken — not just with the materials and workmanship, but with the wider community this space serves. It’s clear this project carries responsibility, and that responsibility is being treated seriously.

It was exciting to see it up close for the first time and document the steady, considered work happening on site.
