PHOTOGRAPHY ๐ธโ
One common question I get asked when designing websites is where to source epic images. Good photos can take your website to the next level, and there are a few options to choose from depending on your budget and requirements... read on, my friends.โ
โ
๐ท For generic images there are plenty of free stock image sites out there. These are fantastic and have some really beautiful photos. One of my favourites is which is where this gorgeous image is from! Some free sites require you to attribute the photographer and/or website, so it's best to check this first.
โ
๐ท Paid stock images. The most common paid stock image websites are Shutterstock and iStock. They generally have more premium images, but can come with a hefty price tag.โ
โ
๐ท Hire a professional Photographer. This is a great option if you need something more tailored and are going for a certain 'look' that you can't replicate with stock images. If you have a product-based business, professional photography of your products can REALLY elevate the look and feel of your website / socials / branding. While they don't usually come cheap, it's definitely worth the investment! โ โ โ โ
