A Cabernet Sauvignon glaze for your next braai 🥩🍷

With Braai Day around the corner, we’ve got the perfect way to give your steak a little something extra – a Cabernet Sauvignon & balsamic glaze.

You’ll need:
- 250 ml Org de Rac Cabernet Sauvignon
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1–2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small garlic clove
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Salt & black pepper

Method:
Simmer the Cabernet, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic and rosemary over medium heat for 10–15 minutes until reduced and syrupy. Remove the rosemary, stir in the butter and season with salt and pepper.

Brush the glaze over your steak during the last few minutes on the braai and enjoy! 🔥

And of course, you’ll need a bottle of Cabernet to make the glaze… and another to enjoy with your steak. 😉

Born in 1925 from Prof A. Perold’s successful crossing of Cinsaut (Hermitage) and Pinot Noir, Pinotage has developed into a uniquely South African cultivar with a story and identity all its own.
