Fresh off the Snaffle Desk is another website refresh. This time for the incredible The All Girl Big Band.

The best brands should continue to grow and evolve and after first building this website in 2021 it was time for a complete refresh. The punchy vibe and new design definitely matches this powerhouse group of incredibly talented ladies.

In 2022, we launched Flutterby Cottage — shaping a brand and website around Penny’s beautiful new venture.

Event Design - recently I had the privilege to work on brightening and increasing the brand experience at the Christmas Grantee Event. The project included a large scale fabric wall listing the amazing grantees and sponsors as well as table decorations and signage. It was an amazing night filled with inspiration and the amazing opportunity to see Jason Gunn speak which had me laughing and crying like only a great entertainer could. 2025 - wow!

Since being back at work full time after having a wee family this year has been wildly busy and I have worked my way through so many amazing projects already, now I will do my best to share them with you here.

My beloved sports group Canterbury Dressage came to Snaffle Design for their website rebuild. I tightened up the logo and brand identity and then teamed up with Bella Maitland Photography to deliver this beautiful base where the group can share upcoming events, information and the history of the group all in one place.

Upon reflection the year 2024 saw some really exciting projects come up that I felt very privileged to work on. While juggling the transition back to work at the end of my maternity leave I was able to work on this exciting business start up for the team at and it has been a real joy watching the brand rolling out onto the streets of Christchurch.

EQUESTRIAN REBRAND for 🦄 Lauren came to me looking for a more simplified and elegant brand for her already successful dressage training and sales business to welcome her exciting new breeding stallion Quassar SSH onto the team. His silhouette has been cemented into this brand and his icon can also be used as a stud brand and on its own. I’m really proud of this one and I can’t wait to watch Lauren’s career flourish alongside her beautiful golden stallion.

I was so inspired by the lightness, balance and grace of Dani and her beautiful DS Nightfall at a recent dressage competition and so this beautiful brand came about.
