The new P-2 skip, from Sidelines can be used to update the old VS P-1, or to add a bit of clutter to a depot scene, as Kevin Crosado wrote in the December 2012 NZMR Journal.

"P skips were provided at various places for use as storage or rubbish bins. These were most common around the Auckland District, but two each made it as far south as Marton, Stratford and New Plymouth. The remaining skips were stored at the Otahuhu Shops Reclaim".

There been quite a bit happening at The 9Mill Store recently, so much so that head office in Auckland, has a night shift at times 😎.

First up the prototype Yd wagon was passed out of the shops today. There's a bit of fine tuning to do yet, but first impressions are pleasing.

Nextly, the x25330 6' car bogie has been added to the list, and I'm expecting to see the x28020 FM bogie later today. I will post a photo when available.

Lastly, behind the scenes we have been working with Pramod Agrawal from India Train Models to overcome the lack of support from the local manufacturer. He's a great guy to deal with and offers a range of services at reasonable prices.
With his help we can now offer stainless loco tyres in 30", 36", 40", 45" and 54", along with the 30" wagon wheel tyres. These are all accurately profiled to NZR specifications.

Those of you going to the 9Mill Gathering in Havelock North, will be able to see the above, and a few other things yet to be announced.
We look forward to seeing you there.

The rivet counters' wet dream, Uc-3 is now available in 1:34, via the 9Mill Store.

It is fully printed and comes complete with bogies, wheels, bearings, couplers, and decals.*
There is also the choice of three bogie types, BP 3181, x25467 or x25340.

We have limited stock at present, but more will be arriving in a few weeks. Available RTR only, at $395.00. Contact Neville Connew for further details.

*Note: PLUME decal as shown will be revised slightly for the production models.
