Tomorrow, we’re celebrating Matariki, the Māori New Year - a time for renewal, reflection, and remembrance.

At Digitella, we’re all about unity and coming together. Matariki inspires us to honour our journey, share stories along the way, and look ahead with optimism.

Reflecting on our progress as we approach our fourth anniversary in September, we’ve seen some solid growth. Our team’s gotten bigger, and we’ve had the privilege of supporting some cool organisations doing cool things for the community, like The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary, Netsafe, and nisa (to name a few). With three office shifts already in the books, each move’s been a step up.

Matariki is a time to connect with whānau and community, celebrate our achievements, and embrace new beginnings. Here’s to tackling whatever comes our way and making the most of every opportunity ahead! 🙌🏽

Last week, some of our team had the pleasure of joining Digitella’s long-time partners (and lifetime legends) Netsafe NZ at their Auckland HQ, for a collaborative workshop run by Moonshot.

We spent two days learning about how Moonshot leverages digital channels for social good – their ‘redirect method’ focuses on targeting users that are engaging in high-risk behaviours, and connecting them with local support and help.

It’s always inspiring to hear about the different ways people use the digital space, and we loved learning about the research and methodologies that go into leveraging these tools for social good across the world.

We can’t wait to take some of these learnings as we continue to partner and help awesome orgs do good mahi across the globe.

Last week we reached a pretty epic milestone...we turned 2!!!! 🎉

To celebrate our birthday, the Digi team and some of our nearest and dearest got together at Carlucci Land for a few holes of mini golf in the Welly sun ☀️ .

In between the beers and the bants, it was a great opportunity for us to reflect on how far we've come since our last birthday, including:

🎉 growing the team from 5 to 9 smart cookies
🎉 working with 30+ epic clients (and counting)
🎉 managing over $2.5 million in ad spend across search & social
🎉 getting our first brand refresh and new site live!
🎉 having our first Digi team KPI rewards trip 🎣

We can't wait to see what the next couple of years have in store for Digitella... watch this space 👀

When Angus and Cam, the lads behind The Flatpack Company, came to us with their ambitions to 1. expand awareness of their innovative student bed offering and 2. help them launch themselves as a player in NZ's general furniture market, the Digitella team were all ears.

Team work made these dreams a reality – the client's responsiveness to our team's suggestions regarding content and site updates was a huge advantage in creating high-performing campaigns and set us up to smash all objectives!
