Wellington-based Elephanta Marketing imports about 500,000 toys a year. With 30 years of being in the toy industry - including several years running Toyworld stores in central Wellington, managing director Sunil Dahya's passion for toys is clear. "We have exclusive rights to market and distribute some of the world's biggest brands to more than 2,000 retail outlets across New Zealand, such as Siku, Meccano, and Rubik's products." Dahya says, "I love toys especially the traditional toys. Every kid needs to enjoy playing with quality branded toys." For the past ten years, Dahya has expanded the Elephanta business throughout New Zealand. Elephanta has assembled a great team of people and have a second showroom on Auckland's North Shore. "I wanted to bring in a fresh approach - wholesaling needs to be every bit as customer focused as retailing!"
