Last week’s event was a chance to launch next year’s POWER UP! Game Jam and celebrate the huge success of 2024 – thank you to everyone who came along, shared ideas, and brought the energy!

A massive shoutout to our supporters at the US Embassy and the New Zealand Game Developers Association – your backing has helped us build something truly special.

Together, we’re aiming to make POWER UP! the first global game jam for women – and we’re just getting started. 🌍 ✨

It was our absolute pleasure to support this year's Creative Bureaucracy Festival Hub as the venue sponsor. Having so many amazing, energetic and motivated public servants in our space was a joy.

We can't believe that this is now the 5th year running for the Wellington Avocado Toast Awards!

To refresh: the WATAs are Wellington's Newest Most Serious Silly Fake Food Award that is actually a real food award. It's not just a celebration of all things avocado on toast; but also a forum for inter-generational discussions about the economy, reflections on our ability / inabilities to access affordable housing, and have a good laugh at ourselves alng the way.
