Annexiota stems from two words; "Annex" - to add as an extra or subordinate part, and "Iota", the ninth letter of the greek alphabet ι / which can also mean an extremely small amount.
This reflects the nature of our principle method of production, Selective Laser Melting (SLM), which involves the use of galvanometric control of a high power LASER (Light Amplification By Stimulated Emission of Radiation) to incrementally weld metal powders in a predefined cross-section layer by layer in order to ultimately replicate a CAD (Computer Aided Drawing) file in a solid medium.
As this manufacturing technique is additive and there is no wear or friction between the tool and the workpiece, there is no cost of consumable tooling replacements.
The complexity of the object to be produced can be as intricate as you require and complexity comes at no extra cost.
