💛 Personal Branding Session for Jennifer, a local counsellor 💛

We started the session with hair and makeup by Kasey George - Makeup Artist, who was also kind enough to step in and model as a client for a few images at Jennifer's office in Whangārei.

We wanted to capture a variety of images that truly reflected Jennifer's business and how she works. We photographed her in an office setting to showcase her online video counselling sessions, then headed outdoors to create some relaxed, natural portraits for her new website.

But I put time into it anyway, because you never know... this might be the preferred way for you to book if you'd like a headshot session in my studio. Especially if my 3 most popular packages cover exactly what you are looking for.

But if you prefer to call me or email me to ask any questions, align our schedules, and add on a hair and makeup artist, then 100% get in touch that way. Then I can quote exactly what you need.

A professional portrait is an investment in you, and I am happy to chat, especially if you are feeling a bit nervous.

I'm looking for recommendations for a professional Makeup Artist in the Whangārei area who can also provide basic hairstyling for my commercial photography clients.

By hairstyling, I mean simple GHD straightening or curls using a GHD or curling tong. Anything more complex would be best handled by the client's preferred hair salon.

All of my commercial shoots take place on weekdays, with hair and makeup usually starting at 9.30am or 10.00am. We generally allow one hour for preparation. Makeup should be suitable for corporate portraits while still leaving clients feeling polished and confident for the rest of their day.

My studio is located in the Whangārei CBD. And there is usually 2-3 weeks' notice for a booking. We have a room available for hair and makeup with a table and chair provided.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to be onboarded as a contractor. Once onboarded, I can include hair and makeup services within my photography packages and coordinate bookings and payments on behalf of my clients. I can only do this once I see your work.

In the meantime, I'm also looking for makeup artists who can travel to clients' workplaces or homes to provide hair and makeup before a shoot. In these cases, the client would book and pay you directly, and I would arrive once you're finished.

I'm also interested in recommendations for salons in Whangārei or Te Kamo that offer both hair and makeup services. This is not my preferred option, as I'd rather avoid clients having to travel between multiple locations, especially during winter weather.

I first met Anna in 2021 when she booked me for headshots, and since then, she has hired me for her shop's grand opening and 6 case studies that showcase her Interior Design Projects.
