We were privileged to welcome His Excellency Ahmed Al Musalmi, Governor of the Central Bank of Oman, to the 11th Edition of the New Age Banking Summit. His keynote address on “The Intelligence-First Era” highlighted a transformative future where trust, national sovereignty, and AI-led innovation converge to redefine the financial landscape.

With 89% of transactions across the Sultanate now conducted digitally, Oman continues to advance with confidence toward the ambitions of Oman Vision 2040. Driving a future powered by innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth.

The New Age Banking Summit holds a special place in my journey. It was the first event where I transitioned from static visuals to fully digital screen content. A milestone that pushed me to think more creatively, innovate beyond conventional formats, and marked the beginning of my own digital transformation journey.

Looking back at how far the UMS team has come since then is both humbling and rewarding.

The 11th Edition of the New Age Banking Summit, held on 18 May 2026, brought together leaders from across the banking and financial services sectors to shape conversations around the future of finance. From AI-driven banking innovation and digital transformation to cybersecurity resilience, regulatory evolution, and customer-centric financial experiences, the summit highlighted the rapid evolution of a more connected and technology-led financial ecosystem across the region.

After two years with United Media Services, my journey with the company has come to a close.

I’m sincerely grateful for the experiences and professional growth throughout this chapter. It has been a privilege working alongside a committed and supportive team, and I would like to extend my appreciation to Mr Atulya, Mr Said, and Mayank for their guidance and support.
