AI Isn’t Coming for Jobs… It’s Already Here
We’re standing at the edge of a massive shift in the job market — and most people don’t see it yet.
AI isn’t just replacing manual or entry-level work. It’s quietly moving into roles once considered “safe”: analysts, writers, assistants, translators… even parts of professional services.
Here’s a personal example.
Recently, I had a highly sophisticated PSMA PET scan done in Panama. The report came back in Spanish, in technical medical language.
Instead of waiting, scheduling, and paying to have my doctor explain it in plain English, I used AI to translate the report into English and generate a clear, understandable summary in minutes.
Same information.
Same insight.
Radically less time and cost.
That’s when it really hit me.
If AI can already do this—what happens to jobs built around translating, summarizing, interpreting, or “explaining” information?
This doesn’t mean doctors disappear.
It does mean the way value is delivered is changing fast. A good friend of mine and author of the book: The AI Book for All, R.K. Antonio said there will be professionals who use AI or they won't be viable as a professional at all.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
If your income depends on being a middleman to information, AI is going to squeeze you.
That’s why I keep saying this isn’t about panic — it’s about positioning. This isn't about job security. It's about starting a business that sells needed, actionable information.
The smartest move right now is to stop relying on a single job or institution and start building income you control, based on what you know, you’ve lived, and you can teach. Or, based on what other people know.
AI is an incredible tool — but only for those who learn how to use it with intention.
The future belongs to creators, educators, guides, and entrepreneurs who adapt early.
The question isn’t if AI will change your industry.
It’s whether you’ll be ready when it does.
More to come.
