God, sometimes people call it luck — when doors open, when things work out, when blessings come unexpectedly. But I know better. I know it’s not luck; it’s You. It’s Your hand over my life. It’s Your grace making a way, even when I didn’t deserve it. It’s Your favor showing up in places I couldn’t reach on my own. Every good thing I have, every moment of peace, every answered prayer — it’s all because of You.
I’ve seen too much to ever call it coincidence. The times I barely made it through but somehow did. The moments when everything seemed impossible, and yet, something shifted in my favor. The people who showed up right when I needed them most. The opportunities that came out of nowhere. The strength that rose up inside me when I thought I had none left. That wasn’t luck — that was You, Lord. Working quietly. Moving intentionally. Pouring grace into every part of my life.
You’ve been there in ways I’ll never fully understand — protecting me, guiding me, blessing me beyond measure. Even in the seasons that didn’t feel like blessing, You were still working for my good. I’ve learned that Your favor isn’t always flashy. Sometimes it looks like peace when I should be panicking. Sometimes it looks like strength in the middle of heartbreak. Sometimes it’s the door that closes, the path that changes, the waiting that feels endless — but later reveals itself as protection.
God, thank You for every unseen way You’ve covered me. Thank You for mercy that meets me every morning, for grace that goes before me, for love that never runs out. Thank You for choosing me, even when I’ve fallen short, even when I’ve doubted, even when I’ve walked through seasons I didn’t understand. You’ve never stopped being good. You’ve never stopped being faithful.
It’s easy for the world to call it luck — to say I was in the right place at the right time. But I know I serve a God who orders my steps, who positions me with purpose, who writes every detail of my story with intention. Nothing about my life is random. Every victory, every breakthrough, every blessing carries Your fingerprints.
When I think of all the things that could have gone wrong but didn’t, I see Your grace. When I think of all the prayers You’ve answered — and even the ones You didn’t — I see Your wisdom. When I look at who I was and who I’m becoming, I see Your mercy. I’m not where I am because I’ve earned it; I’m here because You’ve been faithful.
Your grace has opened doors I didn’t knock on. Your favor has brought opportunities I never expected. Your love has sustained me when nothing else could. And even when I forget to say thank You, You keep blessing me anyway. You keep showing up. You keep reminding me that everything I have — my life, my peace, my strength, my second chances — are gifts of grace, not luck.
Lord, help me never take that for granted. Help me to live with gratitude, to see Your hand in everything, to recognize that every blessing is proof of Your favor. Let my life be a reflection of Your goodness — not because I’ve been lucky, but because You’ve been loving.
When people look at me and say, “You’re so lucky,” let them see through me and catch a glimpse of You. Let them know that it wasn’t chance that brought me here — it was grace. It wasn’t coincidence — it was calling. It wasn’t random favor — it was divine purpose.
I don’t have everything I want, but I have more than I deserve. I have peace that can’t be explained. I have hope that keeps me standing. I have joy that returns even after tears. I have blessings that overflow, even when I’m undeserving. That’s not luck — that’s Your love.
So today, I just want to say thank You, Lord. Thank You for the blessings I can see and the ones I can’t. Thank You for the grace that keeps finding me, the favor that keeps following me, and the love that keeps holding me together.
I’m not lucky, I’m blessed. Everything that I have is because of God’s grace and favor.
And for that, I’ll keep giving You all the glory. Always.
