We are starting the year with great news. San Miguel Corporation has completed the cleanup of the Pampanga River, where we removed nearly 700,000 tons of silt and waste from 26 kms. of this vital waterway. For communities in Macabebe, Pampanga, this brings much-needed relief from flooding and stronger defenses for their homes, farms, and schools. The silt we removed has been put to good use, helping to strengthen dikes and raise roads that protect the town. Through Better Rivers PH, we have cleaned over 156 kms. of waterways since we started in 2020. Each effort reflects our commitment to building safer and more resilient communities. To everyone who worked with us, thank you for your trust and support. This success is as much yours as it is ours.
