One thing I learned from Yeng’s interview with Toni Talks:
She chased her dreams at a young age because she wanted to lift her family out of hardship. She achieved dream after dream and slowly made a name for herself.
But as time passed, technology changed, the music industry changed, and many new singers emerged. She could have chosen to compete, to run, and to chase what everyone else was chasing.
But she didn’t.
She chose to walk in her own lane.
She prayed. She held on to her faith. She trusted that whatever God had planned for her would prevail.
And now, I believe she is already harvesting what she planted for so many years. But I also believe there is still so much more to harvest.
Her music has touched so many hearts, and I believe God is using her gift for something greater than success. Her intentions feel so pure—to create music that comes from her heart, to share something meaningful, and to leave something her children can one day be proud of.
Maybe one day, she will tell them:
“I walked my own lane. I never had to cross someone else’s lane because God had already written my story.”
And what a beautiful story it is.
Maybe this is a reminder for us too:
We don't have to compete.
We don't have to rush.
We don't have to chase someone else's timeline.
Keep planting. Keep praying. Keep walking in the lane God gave you.
The harvest is already coming—and there is still more to come. 🤍
