Pop Culture, cosplay in particular, has taken the Philippines by storm. It transcends demographics, connects people, and is highly relatable especially to the youth. It generates interests, capture
s attention, and spurs the imagination. It bridges the gap between stakeholders and the community. Bams is the Western Visayas franchise holder of World Cosplay Summit Ph and Pop Culture Hiroshima Ph. These international cosplay contests held in BaCon Pop and Pop-X, respectively, give the local community incentive to improve standards and reward their time, effort and resources in pursuing their craft. The Bams Squad is a team of talented individuals with impressive accomplishments in cosplay and the arts. They have awed crowds with their amazing cosplays and performances, and won major contests in the process. Some have represented Bacolod City, the region and the country in national and international cosplay competitions. Together, they aim to inspire and assist the community to pursue shared passions.
