Based on your current situation, are you somehow proud of your teen/younger self?
I know someone who’s proud of her teen/younger years.
She didn’t realize what she’s been doing was something she’ll thank and appreciate, til she’s now on her thirties.

She’s someone who thinks less of herself. She prioritized the needs and what’s beneficial for her family. She also want lots of things. She worked hard to earn money, not for her own but for her family. She didn’t have time to go out, go shopping or even fun time with friends. She sacrificed a lot.

Now, she wants to do something that she never did before. Something that she really want when she was young, but seems like the timing is no longer fine. —there’s a little regret that’s starting to show, but she’s grateful and by God’s unmeasurable grace, she’s proud of her younger self.

Are you also proud of your younger self?
Are you somehow glad of the person you are now ?

When the Pastor said, "If you're a parent, make sure to be someone your child can count on. Just like you as a person, you long for someone that you can count on. Make yourself available to atleast congratulate your child's achievement, and be there whenever needed. You can earn money anytime and in any way, but no way that you can turn back time." It hit the inner me, so hard.
