Once upon a time, in the Year 2020 when I started doing Real Estate selling. I met this couple with good-paying Jobs and lived a high-average life. We scheduled a site visit at that time and the conversation goes like this:
ME: Maam/Sir, mao ni ato new project ug nindot kaau kay aside sa barato 2.6million (2022) then nindot mga balay.
CLIENT: ( Checking the property) Kasagbutan pa lage sir? Wala pay balay lage.
ME: Yes maam kay Pre-selling paman ta, pohon 1 year from now nana ni balay ma kompleto nani siya.
CLIENT: Hmnn, thinking π€ (face cannot appreciate)
Sir, ayaw lang cg**o paabot lang me next year nanay balay.
ME: Ok ma'am, take your time po.
π²1 year+ later (2022) They message me.
CLIENT: Sir, naa kay new projects diha na nindot same location ghapon sauna.
ME: Yes sir, ( I bring them to the same project a year ago)
CLIENT: OMG, Diba mao mani na property sauna na 2.6million nanay balay wow! Sir kuha ko ani please.
ME: Sorry po, it was sold out already a year ago pa then 3.6million napud siya maam/Sir.
CLIENT: βSayangβ (favorite lines I've heard most of the time π). Sayanga oi. Sir if naay ingun ani ha na RE OPEN i will get it.
ME: Noted maam, pag prepare lang mo ha kay tabangan tamo po.
2 weeks later. I call them Maam Good news! I have 1 unit for you π ( Happy )
CLIENT: Sir, where is the office? Lets do it.
ME: Ma'am, the price of this one is 3.8 million.
CLIENT: Shocked and disbelief (π’) Hala! Y man sir?
ME: Maam that was 2020 po, mahal na kabilya, Hollow block and materiales po karon 2022.
CLIENT: Hmnn, (thinking again) π€ Sir, sabutan sa namo ni hubby ha.
ME: Noted maam, no worries po.
π€1 year forward ( naabtan sila 1 year nag thinking).
CLIENT: Sir pasensiya dugay gyud me nakabalik nmo napa tay available diha?
ME: Yes sir napa but other projects na but the same developer and locations po.
CLIENT: Segi sir, nindot na (excited)
ME: Maam/Sir, mao ni po 4.2million nata maam ha.
CLIENT: Sir, naunsa naman ni! Sir sabutan namo si hubby ha.
ME: (thinking) nana sad ni sabutan abtan man kaha me 2030 ani.
CLIENT: Sir, sorry murag dili na kaya namo ang price sir kay sweldo ni hubby wala katubo then and property cge man increaze and sweldo wala. We decide mag RENT nalang me g**o sir.
ME: π€―π° Nag goose bump ko. Why do they allow FEAR and lack of education to consume them? Nalooy ko but I feel helpless because i cannot change someone's perspective all I can do is to EDUCATE.
I thought horror story sa movie ra nako makita but in Real Estate I encounter it firsthand.
Lesson: Time is your valuable asset; Money is just secondary. Fear is your greatest obstacle, but prayer and wisdom are the ultimate answers.
