Lately, Liaโs grades have been slipping, not because of iPads or games ๐คฃ but because of her endless crafting. Ever since we taught her how to use the printer, sheโs been spending hours cutting papers, gluing, and filling her study area with her little creations (and a lot of mess that drives me crazy ๐
).
Until one day I wondered how she suddenly had โextra money,โ and she told me sheโs been selling her DIY paper dolls. It instantly felt familiarโsheโs doing exactly what I do for a living ๐
Of course, as parents we get concerned about grades, but while we were talking to her, a verse came to mind: โSo whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.โ (1 Corinthians 10:31)
We told her weโre not expecting her to be the top of the class. What matters is that you put effort into what you do, because even as a child, your best can glorify God. Itโs a lesson in discipline, in forming habits that will carry her through life.
And the truth is, this reminder wasnโt just for her, it was for me too. Sometimes I donโt give my best, even when I know I can.
So I made this little sticker for both me and Lia. A reminder that in every small task, every messy project, every work we doโthereโs always a way to glorify our God. โจ
Iโll also be selling these stickers, and soon Iโll be creating more stamp verses that inspire and encourage. ๐ All profit from these stickers will be donated to our church ๐
