DO NOT SKIP “SEO” 🤨

This page is basically “dead”… but somehow, it still brings in leads. 👀 COLD LEADS

And nope, I’ve never boosted a post or run ads for this page. Purely organic.

I barely post here. No content calendar. No scheduled posts. No consistent strategy.

The last actual posts were way back in February, with less than 5 pieces of content. That June post? Just a random shared post. 😂

But look at the inbox.

Last week.

I still get inquiries from both Messenger and Instagram. I even get notifications from people randomly following the page.

Cold leads. No ads. No consistent posting.

This is why I keep saying: LEARN SEO.

Social Media SEO is one thing you shouldn’t skip when establishing your client’s social media accounts.

Optimize the page properly.
Use the right keywords.
Make your content searchable.
Build visibility beyond just “posting.”

Because if a page I barely maintain can still be discovered and generate inquiries organically…

Imagine what happens when I actually start posting intentional content, stay consistent, and do everything I can to increase this account’s visibility. 👀

Organic reach isn’t dead.

Sometimes, people are already searching. You just have to make sure they can find you.

Now I’m tempted to actually work on this page and see how far I can push it. 😂

When the strategy works. The business still wins. 🤝

One conversation I keep experiencing. 😭🫣

Me: “It would be great if we team up and run ads for the campaign we worked on. Ads can never guarantee the exact results we want, but I’d rather strategically put the offer in front of the right audience than find leads blindly.”

Int’l client: Just received your invoice. Looking forward to the onboarding.

Local client: Wait, baka pag-aralan ko na lang tapos ako na. Sayang, hindi naman pala sure.

Even when they like the strategy I present, some business owners hesitate the moment they hear that marketing doesn’t come with a guaranteed result.

I know. Hard-earned money is hard-earned money.

But marketing isn’t something you invest in because someone promised you, “Sure ’to.” In fact, I’d be more worried about a marketer who guarantees results before even testing anything. 😂

You invest because there’s a strategy behind the money: launch, test, analyze, optimize, repeat.

I also noticed that some businesses would rather pay someone they can physically see working 8 hours a day because it feels like they’re getting more for their money.

Nothing wrong with that.

But whether your marketer works beside you for 8 hours or opens their laptop for 3 hours, what should matter is: Do they know what they’re doing, and can their strategy move the business forward?

At the end of the day, as marketers, choose clients who trust your expertise enough to let you actually do your job.

Because when the strategy works?

The business still wins. 🤝😉❤️

I found the missing half a million pesos after 2 years… and it even led to a ₱3.5 Million sale. 🙏😉

Funny enough, whenever digital marketing starts stressing me out, I end up organizing my client’s database. 😂 That’s literally my version of a stress reliever.

I know… ang weird. 😂

But somehow, the universe always finds a way to bring me back to sales, and I’m always happy when it does.

Quick backstory.

I was the third Project Specialist assigned to this account. By the time it reached me, the funds had already been tagged as “missing” for almost two years because there was no successful communication with the client.

So instead of leaving it as is, I got curious.

I checked old records, reviewed everything I could, reached out, and followed up.

Long story short… the client wasn’t really “missing.”

After almost two years, we finally got in touch again, recovered almost ₱500,000, and that conversation eventually turned into another sale worth ₱3.5 million.

I guess this is my reminder that not everything labeled as “closed,” “lost,” or “missing” actually is.

Sometimes all it takes is someone willing to check one more time.

Safe to say… organizing databases will probably stay as my stress reliever. 😂

Plot twist: the marketing service I enjoy the least... ended up getting a 45.78% open rate. 😂

I'm honestly not the biggest fan of email marketing.

Creating newsletters? Designing emails? Hindi talaga 'yun eksena ko. 😂

That's why, in most of my proposals, email marketing usually comes last. But strategy isn't about what I enjoy. It's about where your audience actually is.

This client had a database of 50,000+ contacts, and after digging into their audience behavior, it was clear na sila most active sa email and Instagram. That was an opportunity we couldn't afford to miss.

So we built an email marketing strategy around that.

The results?
📩 26,151 emails delivered
📬 11,971 opens
📈 45.78% open rate

One campaign alone reached 4,892 inboxes and generated 1,308 opens.

Don't get me wrong, automation made my life a whole lot easier, lalo na sa sending campaigns and collecting analytics.

But I still manually check the numbers every now and then.
Not because I don't trust the system, but because gusto ko makita talaga what the data is saying.

Which subject lines got opened?
Which emails earned clicks?
Who replied?
