God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Everything You Need To Know About Summer Jobs

A summer job can be beneficial for many people, especially those who are unemployed during the summer. For young people, it is a great opportunity to get some pocket money, but also invaluable exposure to real-life situations that only hands-on experience can bring them. It’s also a good way for teachers, retirees and other professionals or former professionals looking to bring in some extra income. In this article, we will provide tips for finding a summer job and the top summer jobs that anyone can apply for.

Here are some benefits that you can enjoy when you choose to get a summer job:
Several full-time jobs require previous experience. If you are a high school or college student who has little to no job experience, getting a summer job can help to boost your resume for future employers. Searching for summer jobs in the field you plan to pursue a career in can be especially helpful for industry-specific experience.

Consider reaching out to friends and family
The job market is in constant motion, especially when it comes to temporary jobs. Before surveying the open job market, it may be a good idea to start your search locally. Your friends, neighbors or relatives may own a small business or know someone who owns one, and there may be a job opportunity there for you. If not, everyone has their own circles of friends and acquaintances, so the next time they hear someone saying they need a summer employee, they could recommend you.

Finding a job through such a connection is easier for all people involved because potential employers would much rather use the time they spend browsing through resumes for more productive purposes. If they’re presented with an opportunity to hire someone that came recommended from a trustworthy source, more often than not they will give that person a chance.

That is why climbing is often used as an inspirational metaphor. Imagine yourself wanting to reach the top of a very high mountain. You know that it is going to be hard and maybe even long. You can prepare yourself for some of the paths you will need to take to reach the top of the mountain, but for others, you cannot.

So why is having direction so important? Having direction allows you to maintain mental resilience during transitions by facilitating a sense of underlying purpose, not dependent on the specific role one occupies. Also, having a sense of direction promotes better mental health and stronger adherence to long-term goals.

Direction is used to determine where things are in relation to other things. Sometimes direction is vague, like when we talk about things being in that general direction. For geographic purposes, direction is more specific. It can describe position, like in the sentence Susie sits to the left of Adam

What was the first social media in 1997?
1. The first social media site is born (1997) On one of the first true social media sites, SixDegrees.com, you could set up a profile page, create lists of connections, and send messages within networks.
The first social media site was Six Degrees, made by Andrew Weinreich in 1997. Six Degrees was pretty popular with users until 2003. That's when Tom Anderson made MySpace. This new site let users make profiles that played their favorite music.
The first recognizable social media site, Six Degrees, was created in 1997. It enabled users to upload a profile and make friends with other users. In 1999, the first blogging sites became popular, creating a social media sensation that's still popular today
Now, Due to its characteristics, and that is primarily the focus on visual content, and not on written content which main Internet users find boring and time-consuming, Instagram has been the fastest growing and most popular social media platform for several years.Social media channels have been everywhere since the early 2000s, and it has been growing at exponential rates since then- Everyday we spend 135 minutes on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Whatsapp. It's hard to imagine a world without it, and we tend to think that before Facebook social media wasn't really a thing. What if we told you it dates much further back than Facebook or even Myspace?
Yes, and even past the first recognized social media site "Six Degrees", founded in 1997 by Andrew Weinreich. Social media dates back as far as the early 1840s: here's an infographic from Redpill which outlines the timeline of social media from 1844 to 2018

The 5 Types of Work That Fill Your Day
Hacking work is all the rage these days, along with tips for managing email, taking notes, and running meetings. But, at a higher level, what can we learn from analyzing the different types of work we do and how we allocate our time?
First, let’s take a look at the five kinds of work we do every day:
1. Reactionary Work
In the modern age, most of our day is consumed by Reactionary Work, during which we are focused only on responding to messages and requests – emails, text messages, Facebook messages, tweets, voicemails, and the list goes on.
2. Planning Work
At other times, you need to plan how you will do your work. Planning Work includes the time spent, scheduling and prioritizing your time, developing your systems for running meetings, and refining your systems for working. By planning, you are deciding how your energy should be allocated, and you are designing your method for getting stuff done. The best workflows are highly personalized and occasionally borderline neurotic, but they keep us engaged. It may not sound sexy, but Planning Work helps you become more efficient and execute on your goals.
3. Procedural Work
Of course, there are many motions we go through every day that are neither reactionary nor strategic. Procedural Work is the administrative/maintenance stuff that we do just to keep afloat
4. Insecurity Work
Insecurity Work includes the stuff we do out of our own insecurities – obsessively looking at certain statistics related to your company, or repeatedly checking what people are saying about you or your product online, etc.
5. Problem-Solving Work
Creativity becomes most important during Problem-Solving Work. This is the work that requires our full brainpower and focus, whether it be designing a new interface, developing a new business plan, writing a thoughtful blog post, or brainstorming the features of a new product.

The Bible states that love is greater than both faith and hope. We couldn't live our lives without faith or hope: without faith, we cannot know the God of love; without hope, we would not endure in our faith until we meet him face to face. But in spite of the importance of faith and hope, love is even more crucial

And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

What are future focused skills?

Being future-focused is about thinking about the future, anticipating obstacles and planning ahead. It's keeping up-to-date with changes and developments, responding to key trends happening across the world and being able to prepare and plan for the future.

What does it mean if you see your future self?
You may be wondering “what does she mean when she says 'future self?' ” Well, focusing on your “future self” means focusing on the greater, bigger picture of life, rather than merely seeing what's two steps ahead of you

Past focus has maladaptive work and life outcomes such as depression. Present focus increases life satisfaction, but correlates with impulsive behaviors. Future focus is more cognitive in nature and leads to life and work achievements

How to Sell Your Creative Ideas:

You can be the most creative designer on the planet… but if you don’t know how to sell yourself and your ideas you won’t make it past doodling works of art on your computer. Ideas and creativity are only as good as your salesmanship.

If you have the brightest content in your noggin’ but you can’t persuade someone to join your enthusiasm for the idea or the design, then how do you expect to get it done?

The key to success as a designer or a creative is to sell your ideas.

We’ve all encountered situations where we create a pack of designs (whether for a logo or perhaps a website). We have a couple ideas that are “meh” at best, and there’s always at least one design that we knocked out of the park.

Quantity does not equal quality.
As designers and creatives, we go to the client with all our ideas (of varying quality) to show that we did the actual work. Not dissimilar from “doing-out” a mathematical algebra equation in high school. We want them to know that we didn’t just whip it together in 15 minutes. This leads us to show all our work.

And somewhere inside us, we think they are going to say: “Great job, I can see all the work and effort you put into the project. This is clearly the best piece (the one you think is the best), let’s go with it!” without further question.

That’s the disillusioned reality we sometimes create in our heads.

In reality, clients are usually not sure what makes a design “great” or worthy of hitting the publish button.

Because they are afraid of making a risky decision.
They don’t want to be judged, and are often afraid of making the “wrong” decision. Not that there ever is a wrong decision, because creativity and business is totally subjective.
Do you want your clients to back your work, and pick your BEST designs?
Then you must learn to sell yourself.
Sell Your Creative Ideas.
