People see the survival story.
They see the smile.
They see the “you’re so strong.”

What they don’t always see is everything cancer quietly took along the way.

The body confidence.
The peace of mind.
The energy.
The innocence.
The time.
The moments with your children you can never get back.

Cancer changes you long before treatment ends.

But somewhere between the grief, fear, scars and survival… I also found strength I never knew I had. I found a tribe that refused to let me fight alone. I watched my children become resilient in ways kids should never have to be.

Cancer took a lot from me.
But it did not take my ability to keep going. 🤍

To every warrior reading this:
I see you. The grief and gratitude can exist at the same time.

People may only see the smile I try to wear, but they may never fully understand the silent battles I carry every day—the fear, the exhaustion, the tears I cry quietly, and the strength it takes just to keep going.

But even when others do not see it, God does.
He sees every painful appointment, every sleepless night, every silent prayer, and every moment I feel weak and overwhelmed.

And I hold on to this truth:
the same God who carried me through yesterday’s battles will continue to strengthen me for today’s journey.

I may feel tired, but I am not alone.
I may feel afraid, but I am still being held.

Through everything this journey has brought into my life—the treatments, the fear, the waiting, and the exhaustion—I’m learning that taking care of my mental and emotional health is not selfish, it’s necessary.

Protecting my peace matters too. Rest matters too. Healing is not only about my body, but also about my mind, heart, and spirit.

May we overcome the battles we quietly carry—the fears behind our smile, the tears hidden inside our prayers, and the heaviness we face in silence each day.

May God strengthen us in the moments no one else sees—the sleepless nights, the anxious waiting, the exhausting treatments, and the days we feel like we have nothing left to give.

And when we feel tired of being strong, may He remind us that we are not fighting this alone. May His peace hold us together, His grace carry us, and His presence fight for us in every unseen battle.

This journey is more than just a difficult season in my life.
It’s a battle people don’t fully see.

The endless hospital visits.
The scans and treatments.
The physical pain, emotional exhaustion, financial stress, and silent fear I carry every single day.

There are moments my body feels tired beyond words—like it has already been through more than it was ever meant to endure. And still, I wake up and keep going.

Some people see the smile, the photos, the strength I try to show.
But they do not always see the nights filled with worry, the exhaustion behind the silence, or how hard it is to keep fighting when your whole body and heart are tired.

But this is what I remind myself:
I am not weak for feeling exhausted.
I am healing.
I am surviving something heavy.
And healing—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—takes everything you have.
