PHILIPPINE COOPERATIVE HYMN

As we welcome October 1, 2026, we also officially begin the celebration of Cooperative Month—a meaningful time to recognize the power of cooperation, shared ownership, collective responsibility, and service to our communities.
What better way to begin this celebration than by remembering the message of the Philippine Cooperative Hymn?
More than a song, it reminds us of what the cooperative movement stands for—pagkakaisa, pagtutulungan, kasipagan, kaalaman, pananagutan, at malasakit sa kapwa.
Sa kooperatiba, hindi lamang negosyo ang ating binubuo. Bumubuo tayo ng mga taong may kakayahan, pamilyang may pag-asa, at mga komunidad na sama-samang umaangat.
Every member matters. Every contribution counts. Every act of cooperation matters.
As we celebrate Cooperative Month, may we remember that the strength of a cooperative is not measured only by its resources, but by members who participate, leaders who serve, and communities that choose to work together toward a common purpose.
As the hymn reminds us:
“Kooperatibang may katatagan,
Sandigan ng sambayanan…
Nagtutulungan, nagkakaisa tayo.”
May this hymn continue to inspire every member-owner, cooperative leader, employee, partner, and advocate to live the true spirit of cooperation—not only in words, but through participation, responsibility, stewardship, and service.
Tomorrow, as another Cooperative Month begins, may we celebrate not simply what cooperatives have accomplished, but the greater possibilities we can create when we choose TAYO over AKO.
Taas-noo tayo sa mundo—isang bansang kooperatiba tayo!
