The Barangay Council of Tarosanan, headed by Punong Barangay Salvador C. Lorente, together with the Sangguniang Barangay Members, cordially invites all residents to attend our 2nd Semester Barangay Assembly.

🗓 When: October 4, 2025 (Saturday)
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Where: Barangay Tarosanan Chapel

🔹 The Barangay Assembly is mandated under Section 397 of the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160), which provides an opportunity for the Barangay to present reports on its programs, projects, and financial accomplishments for the past months. It also serves as a venue for transparency, accountability, and active participation of the community in local governance.

🔹 During this assembly, we will be presenting:
✅ Barangay Accomplishment Reports
✅ Updates on Ongoing Projects and Programs
✅ Plans and Activities for the coming Barangay Fiesta

We encourage everyone to attend and actively participate as this is our chance to work hand-in-hand for the continued progress and development of our barangay. Your voice, opinions, and suggestions truly matter.

📢✨ BARANGAY TAROSANAN CCTV INSTALLATION FOR PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY ✨📢

The Barangay Local Government of Tarosanan, under the leadership of our dedicated Punong Barangay Hon. Salvador C. Lorente, together with the hardworking members of the Barangay Council, is proud to announce another milestone for the welfare of our community.

As part of our continuous initiative to strengthen peace and order, public safety, and crime prevention measures, we have successfully installed Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras in strategic locations around our barangay. This important project was officially accomplished on September 23, 2025, covering the following key areas:

🔹 Inside the Barangay Hall – to ensure the safety of constituents transacting and visiting our office.
🔹 Zone 1 Chapel – to safeguard the sacred place of worship and gatherings.
🔹 Zone 1 to Welcome Area – to provide monitoring at one of the main entry points of the barangay.
🔹 Zone 2 Sta. Cruz – to secure our neighborhood and strengthen watch in residential surroundings.

These CCTV cameras are vital tools in promoting peace and order as they will serve as deterrents to unlawful activities, provide valuable assistance in maintaining discipline, and support quick responses in times of emergency.

The BLGU Tarosanan, headed by Hon. Salvador C. Lorente and the Barangay Council, assures everyone that these installations will be used solely for public safety and community service, respecting the privacy of our residents while prioritizing their protection.

🌪️🌧️ PUBLIC ADVISORY: TYPHOON OPONG PH 🌧️🌪️

The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Tarosanan, together with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Camaligan, is issuing this advisory to all residents as we continue to monitor the movement of Typhoon Opong PH.

This typhoon is expected to bring heavy rains, strong winds, flooding in low-lying areas, landslides in mountainous areas, and possible storm surges in coastal barangays. With this, we strongly urge everyone to remain alert, prepared, and cautious at all times.

🔔 REMINDERS FOR EVERYONE TO STAY SAFE:
1️⃣ Prepare Emergency Supplies – Have a “Go Bag” ready with food, clean water, medicines, flashlights, batteries, clothes, and important documents.
2️⃣ Charge All Devices – Ensure that your cellphones, power banks, radios, and flashlights are fully charged.
3️⃣ Secure Your Homes – Reinforce your roofs and windows, and remove or tie down loose objects that may be blown away by strong winds.
4️⃣ Avoid Going Outside – Stay indoors as much as possible. Do not risk unnecessary travel especially near rivers, coastal areas, or landslide-prone zones.
5️⃣ Be Alert for Evacuation Notices – Residents in flood-prone, coastal, and low-lying areas must be ready to evacuate immediately if advised by the authorities.
6️⃣ Monitor Official Announcements – Follow only PAGASA, LGU Camaligan, and BLGU Tarosanan for accurate and verified updates. Avoid spreading unconfirmed information.
7️⃣ Look Out for Others – Check on children, the elderly, pregnant women, persons with disabilities, and neighbors who may need help before, during, and after the typhoon.
8️⃣ Health and Safety First – Wear masks when needed, drink safe water, and maintain hygiene to avoid illness in evacuation centers or crowded areas.

The stage is calling and the microphone is waiting for YOU! 🌟 As part of the upcoming Barangay Tarosanan Fiesta 2025, we are thrilled to announce the SINGING CONTEST 2025 — a night of pure talent, passion, and unforgettable performances. 🎶

This year, we are opening the stage for three categories so everyone has a chance to showcase their talent:

👧 KIDS CATEGORY – 7 to 14 years old
🧑‍🎤 YOUTH CATEGORY – 15 to 30 years old
👨‍🦳 ADULT CATEGORY – 31 years old and above

🎶✨ AUDITION (KIDS & YOUTH ONLY):
📍 Venue: Barangay Tarosanan Hall
📅 Date: October 6, 2025
🕑 Time: 2:00 PM onwards

👉 Kids and Youth contestants are required to audition. Only those who pass will advance to the Grand Finals on October 6, 2025.
👉 Adult Category contestants will perform directly on the contest night.

3️⃣ Contestants must prepare one contest piece (any OPM or English song, maximum of 5 minutes).
4️⃣ Bring your own minus one / background music (USB format).
5️⃣ Contestants are expected to wear proper attire and show confidence on stage.

Rhythm & Timing – 20%
