I was at Palawan Express a while ago and i can't help not to look at the woman sitted next to me. Because she was sobbing silently while talking over the phone and saying...
"Kuya, gawin mo ng 5 Thousand, babayaran ko din pagka labas ng pera ko sa shopee. Delivered na lahat yon, inaantay ko pa kasing iconfirm ng mga buyers."
I forgot the exact words she used but its like she has a kid confined in the hospital and they badly needed funds..
I'm also a seller in shopee and yes... Madaming mga buyers na kahit iremind or message mo sila to "kindly acknowledge their orders by simply clicking order received" eh wala kang response na makukuha sa kanila. Kahit nakikita mong online naman sila. Not even a simple response, not even a single click ng button.
Imagine, na sa pag click mo ng button ng "order received", may pamilya kang natulungan? Pero bakit para sa iba ang hirap gawin? .
To all online buyers, please don't hesitate to click that button if you have received and checked that your items are good. Because you may never know that behind that button is someone who may need those funds badly for his/her family.
Yes... Showing KINDNESS can just be as simple as clicking that button.
Edit: Guys don't be offended with this post. I am merely sharing what i have witnessed and I, as a seller. Sa mga first timer po and unaware, don't feel bad po, but thank you for seeing this post as awareness post.β€οΈ
And yes, this is a case to case basis. This post is not imposing all buyers to click that button right away. As i have mentioned, i encouraged to check your items before acknowledging your orders. If it is good why not? Yes, this may not be applicable to all, for items like electronics, since it can also be faulty after a few days. But how about for items like bags, clothes, shoes and other stuffs that can be checked right away upon delivery? Also, i'm not putting buyers at the bad light, and making sellers always the victim. I am merely sharing a story and experience. I am not also complaining with shopee's payment procedure.
Yes, walang perfect sa mundo. Yes, we deserve to get what we paid for. But we always have a choice, that's to be kind. Because you will never know, may isa pang seller na nangangailangan and that funds waiting would be of great help to save a life.
Again. I am not imposing. It is a case to case basis. But you always have an option to be kind. β€οΈ
