A message from the heart of Sulci Handicrafts. ❤️

It has been six months since we lost our dear founder, Satomi-san, last September. Since then, we have navigated a period of quiet reflection and many significant challenges behind the scenes.

In this journey of moving forward, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Takayuki Shimura, CEO of Sulci Japan and the future successor of Satomi-san here in the Philippines, and to Ms. Hiro. Their unwavering support and guidance since Satomi-san’s passing have been our strength as we navigate this transition.

While the path hasn't been easy, we have spent this time focusing on our team and ensuring that the craftsmanship Satomi-san loved so much continues to thrive in Carcar City. Our dedicated artisans continue to hand-crochet each piece with the same love, precision, and spirit she envisioned.

Still creating, still inspired. ❤️

We are reviving this page today to stay connected with all of you and to keep you updated on our journey—from our raw fiber preparations to our latest hand-crocheted designs.

The first day of training for Sulci Handicrafts Inc. is officially underway, in partnership with the Carcar City Local Government Unit (LGU).

We extend our special thanks to Mayor Patrick Barcenas, Vice Mayor-elect Atty. Perkins De Dios, and Ma’am Cherry De Dios for their support and collaboration in making this initiative possible.

For those who are looking for extra income, we have a collaborative Livelihood Training program with the Carcar City Local Government Unit.

We are offering a free 5-day training from June 2-5, 2025, open to all individuals who are willing to learn and interested in earning extra income. Sulci is also in need of crocheters, so if anyone is interested, please feel free to contact us, visit the mayor's office, or go directly to the venue

This competition is open to all senior high school students from 15 public schools in Carcar City that wants to join our bag design-making competition in partnership with TAKASHIMAYA Department Store.
