TODAY is the 424th Fiesta Celebration of our town, under the title of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, as a mandatory memorial on the Roman Calendar.
Christian Perspective:
In addition to physical warfare to defend one's country, the Rosary is considered one of the most powerful spiritual tools to combat all kinds of evil. Even in times of national peace, spiritual turmoil can prevail.
With today's social media communication, we are well aware of the numerous spiritual malignancies afflicting societies worldwide: conflicts, corruption, unethical behaviors, overt sexual sins, homicides, robberies, hate crimes, moral degradation, poverty, and more.
Instead of merely denouncing these evils, it is believed that praying the Rosary with these intentions is an effective method to counteract them.
