Urgent Hiring! Packaging Graphic Designer ( ON SITE)
Purple Cow is a Cebu City IT Park based outsourcing company. We are building a dedicated team for an insurance client, and we are hiring now.
About the role:
You will be the dedicated packaging designer for one client account. The client releases new products on an ongoing basis, and each product needs a full set of packaging and print artwork. You will work from factory dielines, product images, and control panel artwork supplied by the client, and produce finished, press-ready files.
This is production design, not concept design. The work rewards accuracy, consistency, and speed. You will build each product's artwork set to the client's existing templates and standards, then prepare files that a printer can use without corrections.
What you will produce for each product:
• Carton artwork. Working file in Adobe Illustrator, final output as a press-ready PDF with all fonts outlined.
• Quick start guide. Illustrator working file, press-ready outlined PDF.
• User manual. Built in Adobe InDesign. The client exports the final file after proofing.
• Rating label. Illustrator working file, press-ready outlined PDF.
• Energy labels. Illustrator working file, press-ready outlined PDF. These follow Australian energy labelling rules. Training will be provided, and templates exist.
• 2 to 3 lifestyle images showing the product in a home setting, for online use. These are produced with AI image tools, then adjusted in Photoshop.
Requirements:
• 3 or more years of print production or packaging design experience
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator, including working with dielines, setting up bleed, converting text to outlines, and exporting press-ready PDFs
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign for multi-page documents such as manuals
• Solid understanding of print production: CMYK, spot colours, resolution, and file checks before handoff
• High attention to detail. Label and manual content includes technical data that must be correct.
• Able to follow brand guidelines and keep artwork consistent across a large product range
• Good written English for daily communication with an Australian client
Nice to have, not required:
• Experience with appliance, electronics, or consumer goods packaging
• Experience with AI image generation tools such as Adobe Firefly or Midjourney
• Photo retouching skills
